So this begs the question, does Dwayne Johnson sleep at all? He has commented on the matter in the past, and it shouldn't surprise many people that when his schedule is crammed, sleep can be limited to only a few hours.

Dwayne Johnson Is The Busiest Man In Hollywood

Dwayne Johnson's acting schedule alone is enough to scare a lot of humans off. Coming off the Netflix film 'Red Notice', DJ has several other projects in the works, including 'Red One', 'The King', San Andreas 2, 'Doc Savage', 'Big Trouble in Little China' and of course, the highly anticipated DC film, 'Black Adam'.

  • Dwayne Johnson stated that his 'Black Adam' training was the hardest he'd ever worked out for a role in his life.

Sure, his acting schedule is a stressful one, but DJ has so much going on than just that. He's the owner of an entire football league, the XFL which is set to launch later in 2022. Johnson is also the face of 'Project Rock', his clothing brand for Under Armour - not to mention he has his own tequila brand which is also breaking records worldwide, 'Teremana'.

And let's not forget the biggest job of them all, being a proud husband and father to his wife and three girls.

With so much going on in his life, fans are often wondering when, and if the Hollywood star ever sleeps. Well, according to some his past statements, he isn't sleeping very much, depending on his schedule.

Does Dwayne Johnson Really Only Sleep 3 To 5 Hours Per Night?

For some, sleeping at least 7 to 8 hours a night is absolutely essential. However, for those that live a busier lifestyle, it is a little different.

Dwayne Johnson falls into this category as not only is he working countless hours on his various businesses along with acting gigs, but he's also waking up extra early to anchor his day by working out.

"The only thing that's regimented is I have to wake up before the sun gets up," he said. "And I have my two hours alone when no one else is up and the house is quiet."

"I often sacrifice two hours of sleep just so I can have the quiet two hours that I need before the whole house wakes up, including the animals," he said alongside Variety.

  • Dwayne Johnson's former boss Vince McMahon is just as sleep-deprived, working out during the late hours of evening, while going to bed for a few hours.

With those extra bit of hours, DJ is putting in the work inside the gym.

"I need the mental time in the beginning, and the next thing is my training time," he said. "Those are my two anchors, and once I'm able to anchor myself, I'm able to go to work, and then I get in my pickup truck and drive to set. I'm able to work 10, 12, 14 hours if I know that I've centered and anchored my day in the beginning."

Of course, this is all dependent on his schedule, as DJ also does the opposite at times, working out in the late hours of the evening when everyone is asleep. Kevin Hart would also admit that DJ is at times late to the set, meaning he might be cramming in some extra sleep (or making a protein shake).

In truth, it is very possible that DJ is sleeping 3 to 5 hour nights, as was stated. However, it definitely differs depending on his schedule.

Dwayne Johnson's Sleep Schedule Likely Varies According To His Schedule

When he's working a film, spending hours on-set, matched with getting in a workout before, surely, his sleep time is limited to just a few hours, likely in the three to five range. And don't assume DJ's skips workouts, the guy brings his own gym to the set!

However, given how hard he pushes himself, especially physically, there must be a solid recovery window at some point. When he's doing shooting a film and off the road, it is likely that DJ enjoys time at home not only recovering on sleep, but spending time with his kids and wife as well.

In summary, we have no doubt DJ's sleeping window is generally limited, but he might have some odd moments every now and then to catch up between projects... if there is any...
