In 2014, Amal Alamuddin did the one thing many fans thought would never happen: she got George Clooney to settle down. Not that fans should have been surprised. If anyone could lock George down, it was Amal.

The powerhouse bride is a human rights lawyer and has represented clients like Julian Assange and a Nobel Prize laureate. She's a philanthropist through and through, and she's probably one of the most brilliant women George has ever met (if not the most).

Of course, she also made a breathtaking bride, and the dress she wore was pretty much insane. Then again, she also wore a handful of other gorgeous outfits, all from big-name brands, throughout their destination wedding party in Italy.

What fans really want to know, though, is how much Amal Alamuddin Clooney's custom, jaw-dropping Oscar de la Renta gown cost.

The custom gown was actually the last gown that the late Oscar de la Renta designed before his passing, noted Who. At 82, the fashion powerhouse was set on making Amal's dream dress a dream come true.

By all accounts, the dress was a showstopper, and would likely bust most brides' budgets, too. The gorgeous gown cost a reported $380,000, said Who. What did Amal get for over a quarter of a million dollars?

An ivory gown with off-the-shoulder styling, sewn-on pearls and beads all along the bodice, and a full skirt with a long and sweeping train. Basically, it was the wedding dress of every little girl's (and unmarried 30-something's) dreams.

Amal doesn't go all-out on every part of her fashion and beauty regimen, though. Rumor has it, she's a huge fan of the upcoming Charlotte Tilbury serum, which is pretty affordable even for non-celebs at $80 a bottle. Odds are, Amal's wedding makeup by Charlotte Tilbury wasn't as affordable.

George and Amal's wedding, though, totaled about $4.6 million dollars. After all, they did wed in Italy, with tons of celebs in attendance. That's not surprising, either; Amal is apparently a huge fan of the royals, especially Meghan Markle.

But what some fans may not remember is that George and Amal didn't actually get married at their big wedding ceremony. In fact, the real nuptials weren't until two days later, on a Monday at Venice's City Hall, says The Knotand the whole celebration spanned about three days in total.

Amal still went total glam for the Civil Ceremony, though; her outfit of choice was a gorgeous white two-piece pantsuit from Stella McCartney. The wide-leg trousers made her long legs look miles longer, and she was basically beaming as she and George headed to their ceremony.
