Eddie's Private Bahamian Island

Eddie Murphy is without a doubt one of the most successful actors in the entertainment industry and having started at such a young age, Eddie has managed to make the big bucks! After appearing in nearly 40 years worth of film and television shows, Eddie has amassed a reported net worth of $130 to $200 million. With that much in the bank, what exactly has Eddie spent his millions on? Well for one, his very own private island located in the beautiful Caribbean country of the Bahamas.

Eddie purchased his private island back in 2007 for a whopping $15 million! He purchased the Rooster Cay land in the Bahamas, only minutes from the capital and commercial center of the beautiful country, Nassau. Rooster Cay itself covers just about 15 acres and is mostly undeveloped. But will Eddie go through with such intricate plans?

While there may be no plans for building a resort just yet, that doesn't mean Eddie doesn't take full advantage of his own island every now and again, especially considering it is one of the most expensive privately owned islands by a celeb!

Eddie vacations to the Bahamas quite frequently and you bet that he takes his family along with him.
