David Eigenberg has made a name for himself playing the role of none other than Steve Brady in the hit series, Sex And The City. The actor played alongside Cynthia Nixon, who portrayed the fiery lawyer, Miranda Hobbes.

Despite the success of the show, it came to an end in 2004, only to make its return in the form of not one, but two movies! Now, the series is set to return for an all-new reboot, however, fans are going to have to settle with a Samantha-less series as Kim Cattrall will not be returning to the show.

In addition to Cattrall's absence, it appears as if David Eigenberg, much like his co-star, Chris Noth, will also be stepping away from the reboot. While the news appeared to be true, it seems as if David might actually be making a comeback!

David Eigenberg has been acting since the 80s, however, it wasn't until his 1998 role in the hit series, Sex And The City did he become a household name. The actor played alongside Cynthia Nixon as they navigated married life and expanding their family.

As the series came to an end, David made his return to both Sex And The City movies, which were released in 2008 and 2010. Although he appeared in both pictures, fans are now wondering whether or not the actor is set to return this time around.

After the announcement regarding the SATC reboot, viewers have been patiently waiting to hear who will be coming back and who won't. While we know Kim Cattrall and Chris Noth are out, it seems as if David is toying with the idea of coming back.

Considering his success on the show, which has allowed the actor to amass a net worth of $6 million, it would only make sense for him to return. During an interview with Us Weekly that he "really loves the show," hinting at his return. "I think it's really interesting that they've brought it back," he finished.

Although returning to play Steve would be a fan's dream come true, it appears as if David might not actually be making his return.

In addition to his success on the show, David has seen immense success following SATC, too! He now appears as a full-time character on the hit show, Chicago Fire, playing Christopher Herrmann, a role he's had since 2012.

Eigenberg also made a number of appearances on Chicago Justice, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med, all of which have contributed massively to his whopping net worth.

While fans are curious as to how writers will frame the show without many of its pivotal characters, there is still hope for others to sign on. And even if David decides not to make a return to the show, it is clear that he is doing just fine without it!
