Since quitting their duties as working members of the royal family in January 2020, things appear to be going rather well for Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, who have reportedly earned well over $100 million in lucrative partnerships in a bid to build an empire of their own.

The couple stunned fans by announcing their decision to pursue other interests at the top of the year, only for the world to find out that Harry and Meghan had set their goals on making it big in Los Angeles — and so far, they’re certainly on the right path.

From major deals with Netflix to Spotify, and the recent launch of Meghan’s wellness firm Clevr Blends, the former actress and her husband are well on their way to becoming two of the highest-earning celebs in Hollywood.

How Much Have Meghan And Harry Made?

Soon after their announcement to quit their ties with the royal family and the workload that comes with their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex, endorsement deals were literally waiting for the couple to sign.

While things remained relatively quiet on what their actual plans were moving forward, in September 2020, it was reported that Harry and Meghan had closed an enormous deal with Netflix to produce original content for the streaming giant.

Some sources claim the multi-year partnership is worth an estimated $100 million while others insist the two banked at least $130 million — whatever the case, though, they are taking home a lot of money to team up with Netflix.

In an official statement from the doting pair, they shared: "Our lives, both independent of each other, and as a couple has allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit: of courage, resilience, and the need for connection.

"Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, to shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.

"As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us, as is powerful storytelling through a truthful and relatable lens."

According to The Sun, Meghan and Harry will produce and direct a variety of original programming for the firm including scripted kids’ shows, documentaries, and films.

By the look of things, these two have clearly been welcomed with open arms by Hollywood executives and studios.

But it didn’t end there because, in December 2020, it was revealed that the father of one and his wife have signed yet another deal with Spotify to front their very own podcast, worth a reported $54.5 million.

While it still remains unclear how many shows they will record a month, their contractual obligations with the company are said to run for several years, with the possibility of expanding their channel with spinoff podcasts somewhere down the line.

In other words, Meghan and Harry are making serious money with Spotify — so much that these two partnerships (including theirs with Netflix) have totaled their 2020 earnings to more than $170 million.

While talking about their latest venture, Harry and Meghan gushed on their official site: "What we love about podcasting is that it reminds all of us to take a moment and to really listen, to connect to one another without distraction.

"With the challenges of 2020, there has never been a more important time to do so, because when we hear each other, and hear each other’s stories, we are reminded of how interconnected we all are."

With two lucrative deals in place, Harry and Meghan, who starred in E!’s Suits, are well on their way to conquering Hollywood, having already befriended a handful of celebs in their Montecito neighborhood including Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and Ellen Degeneres.

The home itself is said to have cost them close to $15 million, but with all the money that they’re generating, it’s doubtful that either one of them is concerned about making a big purchase.

Meghan is also an investor in the wellness company Clevr Bends, a vegan-based oat-milk latte start-up, with a range of products already having been sent to a bunch of A-list celebs, such as Oprah Winfrey, who plugged the brand on their social media.

In December 2020, Meghan sent a gift box to several notable names including Kim Kardashian and Oprah Winfrey.

The latter actually promoted the firm’s healthy items on Instagram to her millions of followers, and while it’s unclear how much Meghan is profiting from her involvement in the company, she’s sure to be making a substantial amount for her investment.
