After 14 years and 20 seasons, Keeping Up With the Kardashians will be coming to an end in 2021, E! confirmed in a statement earlier this month. It’s since been reported that Kim Kardashian and her famous family couldn’t come to an agreement with the network concerning their salaries per season, and in the end, Kris Jenner decided to pull the plug on any further negotiations.

But even though KUWTK will end next year, the family’s success doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon, with Kylie Jenner recently closing a $600 million deal to sell 51 percent of Kylie Cosmetics while the KKW founder earned $200 million to sell a 20 percent stake of her company.

As a collective group, the Kardashians have more than 400 million followers on social media, so it’s very unlikely that they’ll fall off the radar just because their reality show is coming to an end. But what about executive producer Ryan Seacrest, who is famously known for the mastermind behind the family’s success, and what will he be doing after KUWTK?

Ryan Seacrest Is The Hardest Working Man In Hollywood

While Ryan Seacrest has made millions of dollars from being an executive producer on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the TV personality has famously been called the hardest-working man in showbiz because he simply does it all.

Aside from his enormous success with the Kardashians, the 45-year-old is also the long-running host of FOX’s American Idol, which was later revived by ABC in 2017 with Seacrest earning a reported $10 million per season to helm the talent show.

During AI’s heyday on FOX, Seacrest was said to have been walking away with $15 million per season, but due to production costs - along with high-demanding salaries from its new line-up of judges - he was ultimately left to take a pay cut.

Considering he’s been on the show for 18 seasons, he’s already made a ton of money - but again, this is just one of many streams of income for Seacrest, who is also a radio DJ who fronts the popular On Air With Ryan Seacrest show.

Working hard is something that has always been part of Seacrest's drive for success in life, having previously told The Oprah Winfrey Show: "I knew I could control one thing, and that is my time and my hours and my effort and my efficiency.

“I would get up and go to high school. After high school, I would play sports—not great at them—but I would play sports, and then I would go to a radio station and intern until midnight at night and then get up and do it again.”

"It's in my blood to be on the radio every day. I've done it since I was 16 years old," he says. "You know two minutes about a lot of different things, and you also realize that you are not the conversation. You're just sparking the conversation. I like that."

In 2017, Seacrest replaced Michael Strahan as Kelly Ripa’s new host on Live with Kelly and Ryan, and while it’s unknown what he makes on the show, it’s no secret that he flies back and forth from Los Angeles to New York every week just for its tapings since American Idol is filmed out in California.

This would evidently suggest that Seacrest could be earning more, and he would probably have a budget on travel costs to get him to-and-back from NYC to LA. Needless to say, he’s definitely making enough money to be putting up with the persistent traveling demands.

Aside from his many hosting gigs, which also include being the host of New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, Seacrest has continued to build his credentials as a producer, with his production firm Ryan Seacrest Productions being responsible for the likes of Shades of Blue, Shahs of Sunset, Live from the Red Carpet, and CMT’s I Love Kellie Pickler.

Seacrest recently expanded his source of income by launching his own suit line in partnership with Macy’s. In 2018, the Ryan Seacrest Distinction went on sale and was reportedly on course to pull in $50 million, according to Business of Fashion, showing clear signs that whatever Seacrest does concerning his career and business projects, he’s going to make a fortune from it.

Speaking of how American Idol has changed his life, Seacrest told Oprah Winfrey: "When we started, we were wondering, 'Would we get the second season pickup?’ We got a phone call before the end of the season from the network saying: 'We think this is going to work. We're going to do it one more time.’"

"It's changed television and music. Look at the success of the Idols and who's come out of it. You've got Grammy® winners and Oscar® winners.”
