Being an actor isn't easy and Dwayne Johnson can also attest to that.

Not only is acting stressful, but what goes with it can also cause a strain, like answering tough questions on live TV.

In truth, DJ has come a very long way. His acting career got started in the early 2000s with a minor role in 'The Mummy Returns'. After that appearance, he was thrust into the spotlight as the lead in 'The Scorpion King'.

During that time, he was a different version of the person we know today. He was far more reserved and timid, though in truth, he also stayed classy and humble, even when interviews would seem to poke fun at him.

That was the case in the early 2000s while promoting 'The Scorpion King' alongside Howard Stern.

Looking back, it seems like the Shock Jock and Robin Quivers got a few things wrong in regards to The Rock.

Robin Quivers Called Him The Worst Guest Of All-Time

From the start, things were extremely awkward. It doesn't help when the host makes mention that you're a bad guest just before coming on...

Robin Quivers wasn't a fan of their first interview and Howard Stern would even admit that Quivers didn't want him on the show. According to his co-host, "He's one of the worst we ever had. He didn't stop being The Rock for a second. I don't know who this person is."

To Johnson's credit, he was an absolute class act, even back then, laughing off the harsh words, which took place throughout the interview.

In truth, Rock isn't boring, and nowhere near that, heck there's a show all about his childhood, 'Young Rock' which takes a closer look at memorable moments from his past.

This is the same guy that left the CFL with $7 bucks in his pocket, only to become the biggest name in entertainment.

Quivers would also mention Vince McMahon, and how his biggest mistake was the XFL. Who could've predicted that years after the interview, DJ would buy the entire league himself...

Clearly, she was completely wrong about Johnson, though one of Stern's statements might've been worse.

Howard Stern Said Nobody Would Ever Watch A Movie With The Rock Using His Real Dwayne Johnson Name

Throughout the interview, Howard Stern would point out that Vince McMahon basically owned The Rock, as the actor couldn't use the name without crediting his former boss.

Stern would also state that nobody would ever watch a movie with Dwayne Johnson if he didn't use his Rock name,

“As Dwayne?” Stern said. “Who’s going to go to a Dwayne Johnson movie? I mean, honestly.”

In fairness to Stern, he would state later on in the interview that if The Rock would make it big enough, he could drop the name and just go by Dwayne Johnson, though we're unsure how much faith Stern had in DJ at the time.

The interview would take a few more awkward turns, like Stern telling DJ to get a divorce so he could be single, which would later actually take place.

Though in truth, to The Rock's credit, he was a great sport throughout the entire interview, despite the awkward assumptions and comments that were thrown his way.

Fans Praised Dwayne Johnson For His Humbleness Throughout The Interview

The interview was conducted way back in April of 2002, just prior to The Rock's 'Scorpion King' release. Looking back, fans had nothing but praise for how humble and soft-spoken the star was, despite the fact that he was roasted for much of the interview.

"Man, the Rock has always seemed to be a down to earth humble guy. You can tell he’s grateful for everything he’s been blessed with in life. I respect that about him."

"Excellent interview considering how uncomfortable they made the Rock feel throughout this interview. He's a good sport. The Rock was a true professional and did a good interview. Considering this was his first movie where he played a lead role, I bet he was a little nervous doing this interview. He's real humble, somewhat timid in this interview."

"It’s cool to see the Rock these days. He is way more confident now and would give Robin her crap back to her."

Along with the love he got from the fans, DJ was praised by Quivers at the end of the interview, claiming that the actor opened up a lot more compared to his first time on the show.

In truth, it would be interesting to see how DJ would react had he have been on the show nowadays, with all his success and fame.
