Sure, at the moment, he's on top of the Hollywood mountain with a net worth of $180 million, however, growing up, things were not as easy for the actor. He struggled at a young age, especially when his mother walked out when he was only 8. Jackman revealed alongside People, "I was volatile,” Jackman says of his younger self.

“My mum left when I was 8. My anger didn't really surface until I was 12 or 13. It was triggered because my parents were going to get reconciled and didn't. All those years I'd been holding out hope that they would."

“There was this perfect storm of hormones and emotion,” he explains. “I've never said this before: I just remembered that we had those metal [school] lockers, and for some reason, half in fun, we used to headbutt the lockers until there was a dent in them. Like, who was the toughest and craziest?”

Jackman ultimately used sports as an outlet to let out his frustrations, particularly in rugby. Later on, for one year in 1987, Jackman would spend time as a Physical Education teacher over at the Uppingham School before graduating in communications.

Hugh Jackman Had The Interviewer Turning Red In A Hurry

It was supposed to be a standard brief interview on the green carpet during the Zurich Film Festival. However, the interviewer Rolo Ross was in for quite the embarrassing moment, when Jackman remembered Rolo as a student from his gym teaching days back in 1987.

Rolo asked Jackman about accepting an awkward at the event, but the actor had other things in mind. Jackman would interrupt the interview saying, "Rollo, I'm sorry mate, but we go way back, I used to teach you at a high school in P.E., and I want to know how your physical education is progressing. It's very important to me."

Rolo would enter the frame completely red in the face. Jackman would conclude the interview by once again side stepping the question saying, "You know what makes me angry Rolo, students that don't listen. In fact, I'm remembering you more and more."

Jackman was all smiles closing out the interview, it what a memorable moment viewed by millions.

The video has over 31 million views on YouTube, as it went viral back in 2013. Fans absolutely adored the moment, most of all for the fact that the celebrity recognized the interviewer.
