Hugh Jackman just posted a fabulously funny video that makes fans truly believe Throwback Thursday is the best day of the week. His video depicts some good times he shared with John Travolta, as the two of them belt out the song from Grease, and it contains some insanely comedic moments and impersonations that you won’t want to miss.

Somehow locating this video from somewhere deep in his archives, Jackman has put a whole lot of smiles on the faces of his fans, reminding them of simpler times that seemed more lighthearted and easy going than the ones we live in today.

A Young Travolta And Hugh Jackman

The very first impression most people had of this video was the sheer shock of seeing Hugh Jackman and John Travolta in their younger days. Looking fresh and baby-faced, the two appeared on Rove Live to promote Swordfish and the rest, as they say, is history.

The pals somehow ended up doing a rendition of the theme song from Grease, but that’s not all… as part of their impromptu skit, clearly in the middle of having a wonderful time, Jackman decided to take on the role of Olivia Newton John. Complete with a high-pitched accent and all the girlie motions, Jackman went to town, giving it his all and living up the moment to its fullest potential. It's possible this musical was just a tad too much for Jackman!

Watching Jackman take on Newton’s role and seeing Travolta mess with him along the way is probably the best version of Summer Nights that will ever surface, and fans are delighted that Jackman found it and shared it with the world.

Fans Love The Nostalgia

With foggy memories of exactly how this all unfolded, Jackman took to Twitter to share this awesome video with fans giving them a good dose of nostalgic fun and entertainment. Jackman hilariously captioned the tweet by saying; “Whose idea was this and why did I agree to it?! #JohnTravolta #RoveMcManus @olivianj #Grease #Swordfish #throwbackthursday.

Fans went nuts when they saw this, and immediately voiced their appreciation on Jackman’s Twitter feed. Comments such as; “I'm pretty sure it was your idea in the first place! We all know you're having far too much fun," and "Please keep it up."

In fact, the majority of the messages carried the same tone about loving the clip but still wanting to see Hugh Jackman and John Travolta dancing together…. Perhaps they are listening!
