Lala Kent went live on Instagram to promote her book release for Give Them LaLa. She greeted her followers with foils in her hair and a mouthful of salsa, candid as always.

When a troll entered the chat, she quickly retorted a classy comeback. No time for mommy shaming when there are business deals to handle a newborn to feed.

A Luxurious Life

One of her Instagram live viewers had a snappy comment to add when Kent talked about getting her hair done and hiring her new night nurse. As usual, people had something to say about her use of a nanny and comfortable life.

They suggested she "come back to reality" and while that's not the worst criticism the Vanderpump Rules star has probably gotten, it was better left unsaid.

The old Lala may have gone for the jugular, but the television star has visibly changed her approach to haters.

Kent insisted that she's grateful for the life that she has, and that she's very much in reality. Just because she needs help taking care of her daughter Ocean and her husband is a famous director doesn't mean that she's living in Beverly Hills-ish outer space.

"Sometimes that help comes in the shape of my mother," she kindly explained even though she could have rightfully fired off, "It's not always a nanny or a night nurse."

It's Okay To Have A Nanny

"There's times where it's like, I have to have my little brother around...And yes I agree I wouldn't say I'm out of touch but I didn't grow up this way, with nannies or help and all that sh*t. So I understand that we're fortunate."

The soon-to-be author had loads of support trickling in to back her up. They told her that her life is her own and that she doesn't need to apologize.

"I also realize that there are things in my world that are a luxury," she continued, "I'm not blind to that."

We can appreciate her for telling it like it is. She came from Salt Lake City and has spoken about how she was involved in theatre. Basically, a much more down-to-Earth upbringing than the life her daughter will experience.

Her truth is valid, and she's the perfect mom for Ocean. Not only that, but she's heavily involved in her stepdaughters' lives. They watch Real Housewives in bed all day, go camping, and whatever else she and Randall see fit for a happy family.
