Ice Cube has a lot to say on social media lately, and he has recently become a hater... A hater of robots, that is. In a comedic post declaring his disdain for everything robotic, he re-posted a video initially put up by Shea Serrano, depicting an excited robot doing a series of somersaults.

The video itself is pretty impressive. The robot can be seen preparing to make some big physical moves, as would any human that is approaching a physical feat. The robot hesitates briefly, then can be seen somersaulting slowly, engaging in a robotic hand stand, then proceeding to do a series of quicker somersaults, ending with a celebratory kick and twirl.

Ice Cube simply isn't having it.

Some Very Non-Robotic Somersaults

To say that Ice Cube is unimpressed by this sheer display of technological genius is an understatement. Clearly not a sci-fi fan, and not easily impressed by anything robotic or futuristic in any way, Ice Cube shuns the idea that one day robots can be a prevalent part of our society.

The initial post was put up by Shea Serrano, depicting excitement over the fact that one of his posts was liked by Sean Fennessey. In a comedic, over-the-top robotic celebration of this moment, he posted the video.

Of course, he could have no idea of the fact that Ice Cube would reference it as the subject of complete disapproval. "I hate these F--*&n  robots," he captioned the photo, with no emojis suggesting he was feeling lighthearted about this comment.

Is He Afraid Of Singularity?

Could this be a sign that Ice Cube is afraid of singularity? Could his job one day be taken over by robots? Robots already have jobs, though it would be difficult for one to take over the job of an actor or other artist. Still, though, robotic technology has long been discussed as a possible future expectation.

One user went so far as to comment that this is already happening, though, making a political jab by saying; "They takin over the world. Funny though because we already got robots, they called Trump supporters."

Ice Cube's physical and cognitive capacity won't be superseded by a robot if he has any control over the situation, but if there's some sort of anti-robot campaign that exists in the future, he may very well be the leading force behind it! For now, Ice Cube can rest easy... though he may want to practice his somersaults...because that robot nailed them!
