Adam Sandler is a force to be reckoned with, comedically speaking.

And the actor recently snagged a $250M deal with Netflix, so clearly, even bigger things are in his future. But fans maintain that Sandler is still one of the most genuine celebs ever, despite his fame and wealth.

True, Adam does have some strange habits. For one thing, he seems obsessed with documenting celebrity deaths, in a morbid social media trend. But people who have worked with him (who also call themselves fans) say that Sandler is a cool dude who has a very down-to-earth personality.

In fact, a former Sony Pictures studio liaison who often worked with Adam’s Happy Madison Productions crew explained via Quora that Adam was the most chill actor he'd ever worked with. In his early days as a studio liaison for Sony Pictures, Ken Miyamoto explained, he worked with Adam's Happy Madison Productions crew.

That meant he rubbed elbows with the funnyman often, and as a result, had a few stories to share about the Hollywood icon. Miyamoto explained that he ran into Adam at the gym one time, and the two chatted about their workout habits and Ken's Midwestern accent. Sandler even brought up his late friend, Chris Farley, who was from Wisconsin (again with the morbid celebrity connections, right?).

But after that initial encounter, Ken says that he saw Adam often. They played a game of basketball together once, too. And that's where the story gets really real. The guys were having a great time playing basketball with some friends, when Ken injured his knee.

Adam stayed by his side, made sure he was OK, brought him water, and waited until medics came to help Ken and his torn ACL get assistance. That encounter cemented just how down-to-earth and real Adam was, Ken elaborated.

Especially because when one of Ken's teammates suggested that Adam would face a lawsuit for injuring a crew member, Adam threatened to punch him in the face. Talk about your average guy, right? Most celebrities probably have bodyguards to do their threatening for them.

And that's another highlight of Miyamoto's interactions with Adam: he was basically a normal dude, going to the gym, working at his job, and playing a pickup game of b-ball with his coworkers.

It's really all a fan can ask for of someone who's worth literal millions and has a list of successful movies longer than Ken's jump shot. However, fans who commented on Quora really weren't surprised.

Most agreed that Adam has always come across as not taking himself too seriously (well, duh!), and that his movies are just an excuse for him and his friends to have fun and earn some cash. But given the hilarity of most of those productions, fans really don't care what Adam's motivation is, anyhow.
