He's most well-known for 'Carpool Karaoke,' a hit segment on The Late Late Show hosted by James Corden, however, he's got plenty of other on-screen escapades under his belt. He's rubbed elbows with all kinds of celebrities, taken to the stage for standup, and earned quite the following from fans both in the U.K and the U.S.

But Corden has also earned criticism from fans, whether it's his feuds with other celebs, his portrayal of specific characters that some say he's not well-suited to play, or Corden's ever-growing ego that has hindered his reputation. Regardless, Corden does speak his mind, though it's sometimes gotten him in trouble.

For example, Corden has had some awkward moments with paparazzi in the past, which got fans wondering how nice he really is in person. Rumblings about diva-like behavior started a while back, though, making us all wonder whether his bubbly and sweet personality is just a front for the cameras.

Updated on October 7, 2021, by Michael Chaar: James Corden landed his hosting gig on The Late Late Show back in 2015 where he became one of the biggest late-night talk show hosts, competing with the likes of Jimmy Kimmell, and Jimmy Fallon. Well, despite Corden being known for his bubbly and charming personality, it allegedly turns out he is quite the diva! Fans swarmed James' Reddit AMA with a plethora of negative comments, interactions, and anecdotes that painted him as a major prima donna. Corden has been said to throw tantrums on-set, throw shade at K-pop group, BTS, all while snubbing his own wife and crying child on a flight. While Corden or his team have not spoken out about these allegations, many have gone as far as labeling him as "worse than Ellen DeGeneres". Yikes!

James Corden's AMA Did Not Impress Redditors

He's not the only celeb to jump into an AMA and disappoint fans, but James Corden didn't even have to do anything to get commenters going. The top-rated comment in the Reddit AMA thread is a story that calls out Corden's bad attitude and bad behavior, and it was far from the only comment suggesting the comedian isn't as nice as he seems.

That "fan" called James Corden "massively entitled," while Harry Styles, whom he was accompanied by, was "so cool." This was only one of many complaints that Redditors had not about Corden's work, but about his real-life personality.

James Corden Reportedly Snubbed His Own Wife

Tons of "fans" commented on James' AMA with their retelling of personal encounters with the star. But if that wasn't bad enough, some commenters also added receipts; they linked to various articles that described Corden's generally poor attitude when out in the public eye.

For one thing, he apparently was quite rude to his wife on a plane one time -- allegedly snubbing her and their crying child to the point where onlookers thought it was some random woman and her baby, rather than Corden's own child. But wait, there's more!

Redditors Say James Corden Isn't An Every-Man

Perhaps the worst story to come out of the whole Reddit AMA, and get fans thinking maybe Corden isn't so nice, is one about James campaigning against his own writers. The story goes that Corden and an executive producer showed up to a writers' union meeting to advocate for lower wages for late-night writers. Say what?

If that wasn't enough evidence that James isn't very nice in real life, one commenter kind of made a good point: if James wasn't as awful as everyone says, why isn't his team out doing some cleanup with his image? After all, that Reddit forum must have been a wake-up call for a lot of his team, though it doesn't appear they opted to take any action to try and save Corden's reputation.
