Ryan Seacrest is arguably one of the busiest men in Hollywood, with his jobs ranging from being the host of American Idol, Live with Kelly & Ryan and fronting his own radio show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, just to name a few.

According to Forbes, on Kelly & Ryan alone, Seacrest pulls in an impressive $10 million while his position at American Idol is believed to generate him another $10 million to $12 million annually — so it’s somewhat understandable why the 46-year-old always puts work before his personal life.

Still, one of the things Seacrest appears to have always struggled with is making time for himself. Always working and staying booked and busy in Hollywood is a great blessing, for sure, but given that he’s pushing 50 in four years, many believe the TV personality will probably never settle down.

He’s been linked to a ton of women over the years, but nothing has ever been serious enough for Seacrest to tie the knot and perhaps consider the idea of welcoming children. So what exactly are his plans moving forward and does he see himself getting married somewhere down the line? Here’s the lowdown…

Ryan Seacrest Talks Marriage

In the ‘00s, Seacrest was linked to many women in Hollywood, including Tiffani Thiessen, Shana Wall, and Teri Hatcher.

While there wasn’t any proof he was actually seeing any of these celebs, he certainly made a lot of headlines for being linked to these ladies.

In 2009, he confirmed dating former Playboy model Sara Jean Underwood, but after a brief on-again, off-again relationship, the two decided to call it quits, leading Seacrest to fall in love with singer/actress Julianne Hough.

The latter began seeing Seacrest in 2010. They shared a three-year relationship, which at first led many to think there could be a chance the two could end up tying the knot, but according to reports, the TV host’s career demands got in the way of things and the pair decided to call it quits.

2017 brought along a new relationship for Seacrest when he began seeing model Shayna Taylor, who he first met back in 2013 after ending things with Hough.

Again, though, things fell flat for the ex-couple because Seacrest’s career appeared to take the forefront in his life — sources claimed that Taylor actually pushed for marriage with the multi-millionaire, but apparently, they weren’t on the same page on things.

An insider told People, “After three years together, Shayna wanted more out of the relationship.

“It felt like the natural next step for her. She was ready to get married, but Ryan wasn’t there yet.”

Talking about marriage came up in an episode of Kelly & Ryan, where Ripa questioned Seacrest on whether he would ever tie the knot somewhere down the line. “I did get close and I didn’t do it and it was the right move,” Seacrest shared.

“But I love the idea of marriage because my parents have been married for 47 years, and so I have this thing… I figure the longer I wait, the older I’ll be, the closer to death I am, so I can get it in, and not screw it up.”

He then continued to joke that his sister, Meredith, had taken the pressure off of him from family when she announced her pregnancy, allowing Seacrest to catch a breather on his own relatives asking him whether settling down is in his future.

Clearly, he knows that there’s pressure on him to get married and potentially welcome kids — particularly because he’s always putting his career before everything else — but perhaps there’s still a chance things will change for him.

In the past, Seacrest has admitted that keeping a balance between his personal and professional life has been far from easy since he’s constantly flying back and forth from Los Angeles to New York for work.

“There were five daily responsibilities. You lose the balance and you are drained by the end of every day and you’ve gotta go do it again the next day,” Seacrest expressed. “So that’s always been a tough struggle. I mean, maybe it’s perhaps why I’m not married now. So thank you for this therapy!”

Aside from his hosting duties on numerous shows, Seacrest is also an executive producer, who is the man behind the success of reality programs such as Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, Married to Jonas, NBC’s Shades of Blue, Life of Kylie, and, of course, Live with Kelly & Ryan

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Seacrest is worth an impressive $450 million.
