Shakira met Gerard when filming her music video for the 2010 FIFA World Cup's official song, "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)." He is one of the soccer stars in it. Here’s what the handsome athlete said about their meeting: “It all started when we were in South Africa, and I wrote to her.”
He further revealed, “She was already there because she sang in the opening ceremony, and I asked her what the weather was like.
