Throughout HGTV’s long existence, the network’s fans have learned that they can rely on it to provide them with things that are comforting to watch. After all, the people who work behind the scenes on shows like House Hunters are dedicated to producing series that are entertaining and relaxing at the same time.

On top of making sure that its programming is similarly comforting, HGTV has created several stars over the years. For example, thanks to HGTV in America, The Property Brothers have become rich and famous.

Similarly, Sarah and Bryan Baeumler have become popular with HGTV fans thanks to shows like Disaster DIY, House of Bryan, Bryan Inc, and Leave It to Bryan. Most recently, the couple have been starring in the HGTV show Island of Bryan, which has fans wondering: according to the Island of Bryan reviews, is it worth it to stay at the Baeumler’s resort seen in the show?

Bryan Baeumler has recently teamed up with Scott McGillivray for a new series entitled Renovation Resort, a renovation competition where four duos of professional builders/designers work to transform a wrecked lakefront cabin into beautiful vacation rentals. The first episode debuted in March 2023.

After supposedly investing all of their money in a rundown old island resort, Bryan and Sarah Baeumler went to work renovating it. Given the fact that the Baeumlers are extremely experienced at renovating homes, it may seem like fixing an old resort should not be too difficult. However, since the resort is located on an island, the Baeumlers can only have the materials they need to renovate delivered once a week, or less often if things go wrong.

While it is all but certain that Island of Bryan is dramatized, there is one aspect of the show that definitely is real. After all, the Baeumler’s island resort is open for business and people have been staying there. With that in mind, it begs an obvious question, is staying at the Baeumler’s island resort worth the money?

According to that article, spending a single night in one of the resort’s suites costs customers between $385 and $755. Amazingly enough, that is actually the cheaper option, as a stay in one of the resort’s villas costs between $625 and $1,715 for a night. Considering that article was published in 2021 and there has been a lot of inflation since then, it also is very possible that prices have gone up since then.

While that is impressive enough, the resort looks even better based on a breakdown of the numbers. After all, the resort gets a perfect 5/5 score in terms of location and cleanliness and its service has a 4.9/5 rating. The only thing that drags the resort’s overall rating on that website is the score it got for value as some guests feel it is too expensive, so it has a 4.6/5 rating in that category.
