NBC has been home to some of the biggest television hits of all time, and the network would love nothing more than to remain on top of the television sphere. Shows like Seinfeld and Friends, for instance, are both NBC classics.

During the 2000s, 30 Rock got its start on NBC and became another hit for the network. Jack McBrayer played Kenneth on the show, and fans immediately fell in love with the likable character.

So, what has Jack McBrayer been up to since 30 Rock? Let's take a look and find out.

Back in 2006, 30 Rock made its debut on the small screen, taking no time at all in finding an audience. The show's premise and writing were fantastic, but its casting decisions also played a huge part in its success.

Jack McBrayer might not have been a huge star prior to landing the role of Kenneth, but his time on the show thrust him into the spotlight in no time at all.

Fans of the show noticed immediately that Kenneth usually sports a large grin, and this is something that comes naturally for McBrayer, even when things are uncomfortable.

He opened up about this in an interview, saying, "I think I’m a nervous laugher. Like, when you’re in a situation that you don’t know what’s going on, you go to laughter more than anything."

"I was just telling somebody earlier, 'For all the photo shoots for 30 Rock, my character is always so grinny.' That’s pretty much all I know these days. We were doing a shoot the other day and [the photographer] was like, “Just tone it down a little bit.” And I was trying to force my mouth into not such a huge grin. I think it’s just permanently cramped my face into that," he continued.

30 Rock would eventually wrap up, and this gave McBrayer plenty of opportunities to appear in other projects.

He's Done Movies Like 'Ralph Breaks The Internet'

At this stage in his career, Jack McBrayer is not a major film star, but this has not prevented him from snagging roles in films that have done some big numbers at the box office. One such film was Ralph Breaks the Internet, in which he reprised the role of Fix-It Felix from the first Ralph film.

Voice acting was a major shift for McBrayer, and while he mainly worked alone, he did have the chance to work with some of the film's other stars during his first go-round as the character.

"I wish I could have done more, but for the most part, it’s just me an a microphone, but for a couple of sessions it was different. There was one session where I got to work with John, and one where I got to work with Jane (Lynch), and those were my favourites because my background is in improvisation, as is Jane’s and John is just so talented all around, anyway," he said in an interview.

Some other notable films that McBrayer has appeared in since 30 Rock include Movie 43, Smurfs: The Lost Village, and Queenpins.

On the small screen, McBrayer has made sure to stay busy, as well.

He's Done Shows Like 'Wander Over Yonder'

One of the amazing things about making it on television is that plenty of opportunities will open up down the line. These opportunities come in all sizes, and Jack McBrayer has made sure to capitalize on a number of them since 30 Rock came to an end all the way back in 2013.

In live-action projects, McBrayer has appeared on shows like NTSF: SD: SUV, Key & Peele, Drunk History, New Girl, The Big Bang Theory, and a whole lot more.

McBrayer has also proven to be an exceptional voice actor. He's done shows like Wander Over Yonder, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, The Lion Guard, Big Mouth, and DuckTales.

When speaking about coming on board for Wander Over Yonder, McBrayer told EW, "I have been a fan of animation from way, way back, and then in more recent years I’ve been a big fan of Craig McCracken’s work. So I met with Craig and his wife, Lauren Faust — and this was a few years ago — and I basically said, 'If y’all have any project sthat I could ever work with y’all on, it would be a huge deal to me.' [laughs] And lo and behold, a few short years later, here we are!"
