Annie Guest is the daughter of actor Jamie Lee Curtis and screenwriter Christopher Guest. While her mom chooses the public eye for her career and has made a difference in her fans' lives doing so, Guest prefers her own path. She easily could have used her parents' success in the film industry to carve her way into blockbuster films but found fulfillment without the help of her last name.
Passion For Dance
Annie Guest is a featured team director for the MNR Dance Factory in Los Angeles, a company with which she values a long history. According to her faculty bio, she started dancing with the MNRDF when she was three years old and moved up its ranks.
Now, she's, "Co-Director of the award-winning MNR DF dance team and teaches Ballet, Jazz/Contemporary, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, and Hip-Hop. Annie is also skilled at working with our mini dancers under the age of 6, teaching flexibility and conditioning, as well as working with dancers with ASD and other motor/developmental disorders."
Guest, who was adopted by her parents in 1986, is now married to her fellow under-the-radar husband Jason Wolf. Curtis featured their 2019 wedding on her Instagram, and her daughter wore a show-stopping Zac Posen gown with dramatic sleeves. She delighted in joining with the Wolf family to celebrate their union under summery pink umbrellas and the July sun.
A BFF Bond With Her Mom
While Guest maintains an individual identity despite a common thread of show business in her family, or "show off business" as her mom would call it, Jamie Lee still posts profound memories she's shared with her daughter.
Curtis shared a photo of herself on World AIDS Day and an anecdote about their heartbreaking connection to the virus, "I remember walking in @aidswalkla with my daughter, Annie, after losing our dearest friend #richardfrank wearing my own version of the AIDS ribbon to bring attention and awareness to the continuing fight."
Most of Curtis' public statements involve issues going on in the world that she can give a platform and family memories. While we won't know how exactly that strength has transferred into her daughter's world views, considering Guest's privacy, we can rest assured that it has already made waves in her life.
