The Wedding Day

Sigler and Dykstra got married in 2016 and it sounds like they had a really sweet, fun, and chill wedding day.

She told People, “It feels like we’re married already because we have a child and we’re already a family, but so many different life things have happened over the four years of us being together that have delayed this. My brother [Adam] passed away last year and you would think that would delay it even further, but it was the one thing he would ask all the time like, ‘When are you guys getting married?’" Once Sigler talked to her parents, the family was thrilled about planning a wedding. She said that it was "positive."

Raising Kids And Married Life

Sigler and Dykstra have two children together: Beau Kyle and Jack Adams. The actress penned a piece for Shondaland.com where she talked about raising children while having MS.

Sigler wrote, "I even, sadly, had to have the talk with my husband about what we'd do in the worst of circumstances" and said that if there was a tragedy, he would look after the children and she would look after herself. She said, "you have to take the kids and run, and trust I will do my best to stay safe. Just thinking about this still makes me tear up."

According to Closer Weekly, Sigler has talked about how to keep a marriage happy, and her words are so wise and relatable. She said that weekends aren't exactly chill because she and her husband are taking their children to various places and activities. During the week, she said they're spending "maybe two hours a day" together.

Sigler told the publication, “Your kids are the most important thing in your life, but don’t forget your partner. Cutter and I, I would say probably every at least three months we’ll take a weekend trip just us. And while it’s hard to leave your kids and you can feel guilty about it, life can get really overwhelming.”

It sounds like the couple has a healthy marriage where they talk things through and make sure to have time for the two of them. Sigler's marriage and "support system" also enabled her to tell the world that she has MS, 15 years after getting a diagnosis in 2002.

According to E Online, the actress said, "I'm at a point in my life with my son, with my new marriage, it's a new me. "I don't want to hold a secret where it feels like I have something to be ashamed of or have something to hide."
