Japan's Shiba Inu Marshmallows Are Adorable And Delicious (And Available For Only $12)

The Japanese brand, Felissimo, has created soft, sweet, and adorable Shiba Inu marshmallows for only $12 (¥1,200). The designs are not only extremely cute, but also quite realistic. For anyone with a Shiba Inu obsession (so, basically everyone), these sweets are absolutely perfect.

About 10 years ago, the Internet fell in love with the Shiba Inu breed. From doge memes to livestreams of puppies’ everyday lives, we couldn’t get enough of the adorable dogs. Bodhi, a very stylish Shiba Inu, is so loved by people that he began a modeling career. The pup now makes $15,000 a month in brand deals. Clearly, our love for the Shiba Inus is strong, and it probably won’t fade any time soon.

The squishy marshmallows pay careful attention to the detail of each dog’s face. There are three different colors of the dog, much like they would be in real life: a combination of black, orange, and white. They also feature various facial expressions to highlight how cute they can be in any situation. Inside each marshmallow is a filling of chocolate and anko, a sweet bean paste, just to make them as sweet as the faces of the dogs themselves. Each pack has nine sweets, and they retail for around ¥1,200.

Other than the adorable Shiba Inu marshmallows, Felissimo also features a variety of animal-themed sweets and merchandise. According to SoraNews24, the company is Japan’s premier provider of cat-themed merchandise, and the Shiba Inu marshmallows were modeled from a similar product they did with cats three years ago: the Nyarshmallows. Squishy marshmallows are already cute just as they are, but adding these adorable faces to them makes you want to squeeze them even more.

The sweet and squishy marshmallows are one way you can pay homage to your love of the Shiba Inu. The dogs are as sweet to their owners as the marshmallows are when you bite into them, so the treat is a perfect way to capture the Shiba Inu love. They’re adorable, intelligent, and Internet-famous; what more could you want in a puppy?
