How Power Ranger Actor Jason David Frank Became A World Record Holder

Over the last three decades, so many actors have portrayed Power Rangers on television that some of the show's biggest fans wouldn't have remembered them all. On the other hand, Jason David Frank's legacy has always loomed large over the franchise.

As a result of the fact that Jason David Frank is a charismatic actor, his character Tommy Oliver was often perceived as the main Power Ranger by fans. In fact, even after Tommy Oliver ceased being a Power Rangers mainstay, he came back year after year.

When Jason David Frank wasn't busy portraying a Power Ranger during the early-2010s, he was showing off his martial arts skills in real life. Most notably, Jason became a mixed martial artist who went by the nickname "Fearless".

In the year 2010, Jason David "Fearless" Frank took five fights. The first four of the battles that Jason took part in were amateur fights that Jason won, two by submission, one by TKO, and one by knockout. After that, Jason won his only professional fight by submission.

Even after Jason David Frank's mixed martial arts career came to an end, he clearly continued to take his training very seriously. As it turns out, Jason must have become especially talented at breaking boards since he used that skill to become a world record holder.

In January of 2013, a Guinness World Records official witnessed Jason David Frank go skydiving. Instead of just sky diving, however, Jason spent his time breaking seven pine boards while he was freefalling which made him an official record holder.

Before Jason David Frank broke seven pine boards while freefalling, the previous record holder's feat was a lot less impressive. After all, the previous record holder only broke two pine boards while freefalling.

Amazingly enough, t-shirts were even made to commemorate Jason David Frank becoming a world record holder. However, only months after Jason's achievement, a man named Ernie Torres surpassed him by breaking 12 pine boards while freefalling.
