Jeff Bezos And Other Party-Goers Are Left Flabbergasted

It is hard to argue that David Blaine is not impressive. Someone filmed David Blaine finesse three minutes and forty-six seconds out of Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos's life. Blaine took that nearly four minutes and attempted to give Bezos a stroke as he performed mind-blowing after mind-blowing illusion. Unfortunately, because there is no way to remove the veil behind Blaine's tricks, one can only narrate what one sees.

The only two recognizable faces are the CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, and master illusionist David Blaine. As in so many Street Magic videos, Blaine presents his victim...or participant, if you will, with a deck of cards. Blaine instructs Bezos to choose any card from the deck. Any card was fine, "It doesn't matter." Bezos selected the nine of clubs.

Blaine instructs him to initial it in the middle. Blaine proceeds to appear to slide the card into the deck, and no matter what amount of shuffling, the card keeps appearing at the top. It was pretty satisfying to watch Blaine own Bezos.

His surrounding company got in on the act. He was shuffling the cards without care. Blaine casually drains Bezos's glass and takes a bite out of it. The shuffler takes a poker hand from the deck. After this, he asks anyone for an iPhone. Three different people and Bezos add random three-digit numbers and some calculations.

Blaine pretends to be stumped, but he then shows he's bested them again. Bezos laughs like he needs one more drink. He can't wrap his mind around it. You can see Bezos trying to calculate how to sell whatever Blaine has as a product online.

Finishing off Jeff Bezos's wine and taking a bite out of his wine glass...clearly a power move. How that was possible is anyone's guess.

Two YouTube users commented that black magic was the only explanation for this trick. Others had a more biology-based cause.

A commenter explained that Blaine spent thirteen years tearing up his right hand's skin to develop a path for the ice pick. It is pure scar tissue that allows the ice pick to travel through without harming any blood vessels or causing pain. Blaine probably workshopped this illusion away from his daughter Dessa in his Chinatown lab.
