Jeffree Star announced a shocking life change to his YouTube subscribers. With his mental health in mind, he has decided to sell his mega-mansion and leave California.

We never thought we'd witness his baby pink lifestyle say goodbye to the West Coast. Here's why he's decided to change up his scenery.

His Break-Up With Nate

The factories and offices of Jeffree Star Cosmetics aren't going anywhere, but the beauty guru's personal residence is venturing elsewhere. He shared that his mental health has taken a hit during the pandemic, and he's finally come to terms with the need for change.

"I've been through so many things that I never wanted to deal with," Star opened up with a fitting pink background behind him, "You guys know I lost two dogs in '19, I lost the love of my life. The one person that I've truly been in love with is not in my life anymore."

He continued that he'll never talk about the details of his separation from ex Nathan Schwandt. The business owner is aware that the word "drama" is stuck to his name, and he's had to face why that is.

"I had to look in the mirror and really, really self reflect," he admitted in a choked-up voice, "Being in this big house is so lonely.

No Need For A Mansion

Star continued that while his mom has lived with him and he's had family and employees stay at his home, it feels more like a hotel. One of his biggest regrets looking back was not asking for help when he needed it the most.

While he misses the love he shared with his ex, Star said that he's grateful for the beauty that opened up and allowed him to love himself for the first time.

We never thought he and Nate would break up, and a split like that takes time to heal.

Aside from his heartbreak, Star also owned his Mean Girls side and even likened himself to the character Regina George.

"I really want to sit here and let you guys know I'm sorry as well...This is just me saying I'm sorry to anyone I've ever hurt. I'm sorry I let people hurt me. I'm sorry I trusted so hard with friends in my past. A lot of the time I amplified things when I should've just shut up."

We won't be able to say if this is a real turned-over leaf for the YouTuber until actions and visible improvements unfold, but we wish him the best and hope he's actually learned this time around.
