In 2003, Jennifer Aniston won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical for playing Rachel Green on Friends. At the very beginning of her memorable acceptance speech, she thanked her five co-stars, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer. "I love you guys, you started out as my colleagues and you're my friends and you're my family," Jennifer emotionally said on stage.

Over the course of years, the six stars have managed to stay close to each other, Jennifer and Courteney the closest among all. Their friendship needs to be constantly celebrated, especially after Jennifer Aniston marked her Instagram presence and gave fans a peek into their lives.

10 Friends Who Play Pool Together

Anyone who remembers Courteney Cox's Monica Geller will at the very outset say how competitive the character was. On Friends, she singlehandedly beat Chandler and Joey at foosball, and in real life, she poked fun at Jennifer Aniston's billiard skills.

Sharing their adorable video from the game on Instagram, Jennifer wrote, "Friends shouldn't let Friends play pool (especially when they suck😣)." Though she made a shot, it was quite clear that she'd lost the game to her BFF, Courteney Cox.

9 Masked Cuddles

Thanks to Courteney Cox's Instagram, fans were delighted to see her and Jennifer Aniston wear a pair of matching masks while cuddling with Courteney's Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Harley and Hopper.

Through the short video, Courteney mainly advised people to wear face masks to protect themselves and limit the spread of the pandemic. Harley and Hopper communicated via adorable subtitles in the video.

The dogs were seen playing with their face masks, while one of them advised the other to, “Just put it on," followed by “No,” as a response from the second one. The first one persistently added, “I’ll make it worth your while. Come on now."

8 Jennifer Aniston Cosplay

Courteney Cox sure knows what to write in a birthday message for her pal, Jennifer Aniston. Guess she's making up for the time when her fictional Friends husband, Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) made her best friend cry on her 30th birthday! All he had to do was buy the card!

"No matter how hard you might try... there's only one Jennifer Aniston," wrote Courteney attempting to cosplay as Jennifer. In the photo, the two friends can be seen posing together for the camera in matching aviator glasses, and black outfits.

"Happy birthday my dear friend @jenniferaniston! I love you! ♥️♥️♥️," Courteney Cox sweetly concluded.

7 That Friends Reference

It's always a pleasure to see the Friends cast reference the sitcom every now and then. "Welcome to the real world. It sucks. You're gonna love it!" is one such iconic quote that Monica Geller used when Rachel Green cut up all her credit cards to step into the real world and live off her own money in the show's pilot.

Twenty-five years later when Jennifer Aniston actually did join Instagram, the same friend welcomed her in Friends fashion writing, "Hi Jen! Welcome to the social media world...it sucks. You’re gonna love it! ♥️♥️♥️"

6 Jennifer Aniston Turns 50

On seeing this picture, the lyrics, "I'll be there for you" reverberate in the minds of fans. On February 11, 2019, Jennifer Aniston turned 50 and her sweet friend, Courteney Cox shared their adorable photo.

What makes the birthday message special is the fact that Courteney wished her friend, Jennifer when the latter wasn't around on Instagram yet.

"The world definitely got brighter the day this girl was born. Happy birthday, sweetheart! I Love you! ♥️," captioned the doting friend, Courteney Cox.

5 The Fourth Of July

Looks like Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston spend every major holiday together, 4th of July being no exception! Courteney's longtime friends such as Laura DernSuzanne Somers, and Jennifer Meyer can be spotted celebrating the festivities with her, but it is Jennifer Aniston who catches the attention of a true Friends fan.

"Happy 4th everyone! I’m lucky to be spending it with so many girls that I love ♥️," Courteney Cox captioned the lovely shot.

4 The One With Matt LeBlanc

Rachel (and Monica) have decided to move in with Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) again! Or, it could very well be the opposite.

Courteney Cox shared an adorable selfie with Matt LeBlanc and Jennifer Aniston, captioned, "A rare night and I love it." While it may be rare to have Matt LeBlanc around, it certainly isn't rare for the blonde and brunette best friends to be in each other's company.

The cast of Friends may come and go, but out of those, Jennifer and Courteney are forever together!

3 Friendsgiving 2019

Jennifer Aniston celebrates Friendsgiving with Courteney Cox

Jennifer Aniston's Friendsgiving, which she hosts a day before Thanksgiving wouldn't be complete if Courteney Cox wasn't present. Last year, she hosted a Friendsgiving dinner for her pals, but more importantly for Jimmy Kimmel after he boldly suggested she cook something else besides feeding her guests turkey the day before actual Thanksgiving.

So to save Jimmy from eating Turkey two days in a row, Jennifer made him enchiladas and posted a photo of herself putting those into the oven. Her friend, Courteney Cox could be seen enjoying the party and later commented how much she loved those enchiladas on Jennifer's post.

2 The More The Merrier

In an obvious nod to Friends, "Hi from the girls across the hall 👋🏼," writes Jennifer Aniston alongside a picture of former co-stars cozying up to each other. When Jennifer adds the third girl, Lisa Kudrow in the picture, she comes up with a Friends reference, as clever as this!

In the second photo, Jennifer clicks her head with Courteney while Lisa looks into the camera. It's no secret Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox love each other, this one just made it quite obvious!

1 The Last Supper

Fans are eternally grateful to Courteney Cox for this picture of not just the BFFs but the whole group of six! The teary-eyed cast got clicked before the taping of the finale episode on January 23, 2004. Jennifer Aniston holds Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc while Courteney sits beside Lisa Kudrow in the photo.

Friends ended in May 2004 leaving a trail of questions and thoughts behind. Back then, fans wondered what it must have been for one of the best casts in TV history to sign off.

The cast, as they told Oprah dreaded the characters they'd nurtured and portrayed for ten years had suddenly ceased to exist. “I don’t think we’ve ever taken more time in hair and makeup in between scenes. Also, that fact that we kept crying all our makeup off, over and over again," Jennifer Aniston revealed to Oprah.
