At a very young age, Jennifer Lawrence decided she was going to be an actress. She went all-in on the decision as a teen, skipping out on school and not receiving a GED or any type of diploma.

Success was never a guarantee, just like so many other actors trying to make it, Jen started off with smaller roles. Her first pilot was on a show that never aired, 'Company Town.'

Slowly but surely, she gained more traction and in the 2010s, she became among the elite in Hollywood.

Lawrence thrived in so many roles, who can forget that Oscar buzz following 'Silver Linings Playbook'. However, it is her relatable demeanor that fans enjoy the most, Lawrence isn't afraid to be herself, and in truth, she never appears to look too big for a certain moment.

That leads us to our topic of conversation, the fall that took place during her 2013 Oscar win. Despite the fact that it was viewed by millions around the world, Lawrence made mention that she experienced far worse moments behind the scenes.

Let's revisit the fall, along with what she calls her most embarrassing moments when the cameras weren't rolling.

Falling At The 'Oscars'

We're not sure what's worse here, falling at the Oscars, forgetting your speech, or people making false claims that your fall was purposely done...

Unfortunately for Lawrence, she experienced all three. She recalled the fall and how it changed everything for her.

"I had everything in my head. I was very, very nervous but I was ready. All of the adrenaline clears out and they call my name and I’m elated and I’m in shock…And then I fell, and it erased everything from my mind. My full brain went blank. I can look back at it now fondly but for a very long time the fall thing was very sensitive.”

As if that wasn't hard enough, the likes of Anderson Cooper called the moment fake. He suggested that Lawrence was trying to be more relatable with the stunt. This angered Jen even further, and it is said that she ripped into him at a party. Though thankfully, they were able to get past it with Cooper apologizing.

Looking back, Lawrence admitted alongside Howard Stern that she wishes she could have a do-over, "I would give anything to be able to go back and redo that moment. The fall startled me and made me forget my speech and made me forget to thank important people."

Despite the embarrassment of the moment, Lawrence stated that far worse has taken place behind the scenes. One of them includes a legend of the game.

Meeting Francis

Have you ever contemplated introducing yourself to someone, and then expecting the worst... Well, that's exactly what went down when Lawrence decided to introduce herself to a legend of the game, Francis Ford Coppola.

Lawrence admitted she was very nervous to go over in the first place.

"I started walking [over to Coppola] and I noticed I was barefoot, but I was like, 'Eh, they probably won't notice,'" Lawrence recalled. "So I'm barefoot, and I, like, introduced myself, said, 'Oh, I'm such a huge fan! The Godfather! Ahhhh!' And then went on and introduced myself to the whole table, 'Hi, I'm Jennifer Lawrence.' They had no idea who I was."

The true embarrassment took place once she made it back to her table. It was at that point where Jen noticed not only was she missing shoes, but her back zipper was also completely undone.

"Then, I went back to my table, and [I realized] my entire dress was unzipped, and my thong was out."

"So I'm barefoot, and my whole ass was out," Lawrence concluded. "I thought the shoes were going to be the problem."

You see folks, even the rich and famous fall down at times. Lawrence also stated that she had another terrible moment, mistakingly labeling a celeb as Elizabeth Taylor... who of course passed away.

At the very least, alongside Jimmy Fallon, Lawrence was able to laugh off the past blunders. Fans were also clearly amused.

"Ok, Jennifer Lawrence might be one of the most naturally funny people I’ve ever seen, this interview had me dying the whole time 🤣."

"Love her she's so fearless, confident in speaking her mind, funny, and no filter just real unapologetic genuinely herself."

Even when she doesn't win, she still wins...
