It seems Jennifer Lawrence has met with Quentin Tarantino about appearing in his movies more than once, but didn't agree to any parts. The Don't Look Up actress even gave the famous director casting advice after one of their meetings! Because Tarantino has met with Lawrence to appear in two of his films, it seems he is interested in working with the talented actress.

Jennifer Lawrence is most likely hoping to work with the Kill Bill director. She has met with him about appearing in two of his movies. It also appears she feels comfortable with the director, even offering him casting advice after meeting with him.

Hopefully the two will be able to collaborate on a film together in the future, but it could be that Lawrence has only one more opportunity to work with the director.

Jennifer Lawrence Was Almost Offered A Role In 'The Hateful Eight'

Reportedly, Jennifer Lawrence almost landed a role in Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight, before being considered for Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood. Apparently, the Resevoir Dogs director is a fan of the actress, and considered her for the role of Daisy Domergue. He revealed "I'm a huge Jennifer Lawrence fan" to Entertainment Weekly.

He also stated, "I can see her doing a good job with this role, so we went to talk about it and everything. She was just doing a courtesy to me, I think. She was doing Joy. She had to do all this publicity on the Hunger Games movies. There was just no way in the world that she was available."

It seems as though Lawrence is interested in working with the director as well, otherwise, why would she have even met with him? Hopefully the two will be able to collaborate in a future film, which could be Quentin Tarantino's last movie.

The role instead went to Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Tarantino had no regrets with his casting decision.

"Having said that, I'm glad I didn't cast somebody that young. I think I absolutely positively made the right choice, as far as the ages of the characters."

He also stated, "There was a throwback to Reservoir Dogs quality to this whole [movie] so there was this kind of full circle quality going on." He continued, "So I was like, the actress should be from that same boat as the [other actors], and there were about three actresses from that period that really kind of made an indelible mark on me."

It appears Jennifer Jason Leigh made the biggest impression!

Jennifer Lawrence Was Also Considered For A Role In 'Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood'

During 2017, many believed Jennifer Lawrence might be cast in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood. According to the Daily Mail, when speaking with Marc Maron on his WTF Podcast, Tarantino discussed who he initially thought about for the part of Squeaky Fromme.

He revealed, "early on, I investigated the idea of Jennifer Lawrence playing Squeaky. She came down to the house to read the script cause I wasn't letting it out. So, she came down to the house and I gave her the script and said, 'Go in my living room or go outside by the pool and read it.'"

It seems that although the Winter's Bone star was interested in the part, maybe the role didn't feel right. Or maybe she and Tarantino both felt she wasn't right for the character. Tarantino continued, they "talked about it a little bit, she was interested in doing it, but something didn't work out."

The role of Squeaky, one of Charlie Manson's most devoted follower's, went to Dakota Fanning instead. Tarantino ended up seeming pleased with this casting decision.

In the WTF podcast Tarantino mentioned he "couldn't be happier with what Dakota Fanning did." The director also added that The Alienist actress gave "one of the best performances of the movie. She's amazing as Squeaky Fromme. She becomes [her]."
