Or maybe the Hustlers star just likes things done a certain way. It seems Jennifer Lopez had a pretty long list of demands for this hotel when she went to London.
It's no secret that celebrities are usually given special treatment. This can lead to some celebrities to expect to be treated a certain way in certain situations. Some celebrities want their destinations to be prepared a certain way before they arrive.
Others will send lists of outrageous requests to venues or hotels ahead of their stay. Some celebrities might even get angry if their demands aren't met. Before staying at the Dorchester Hotel for two days, Jennifer Lopez created a two-page list of requests for her stay.
What Was On Jennifer Lopez's List Of Requests?
It's not uncommon for celebrities to have a list of demands for hotels, studios and/or venues, especially high-profile celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez. The actress/businesswoman traveled to London to promote her sixth album, Brave. While in London, the Love Don't Cost A Thing singer stayed at the Dorchester Hotel.
Apparently before Lopez arrived at the hotel, she sent ahead a two-page list of requests. The list included what she wanted in her room, such as a microwave oven, humidifiers, a variety of food and beverages, white lilies or white or red roses, Jo Malone lime blossom or grapefruit scented candles, and several other demands.
Some of the requests seem pretty normal, such as the bottled water, coffee maker and veggie platter. And then some are more over the top, including a prepared breakfast in case she arrives early, and sunflower seeds with shells - meaning there might be a hotel employee who has to go through all the sunflower seeds to ensure they all have shells.

Hotel employees apparently panic when Jennifer Lopez comes to stay. This might have something to do with the preparations necessary to make the hotel ready for the singer. It seems if anything from her list of requests is wrong, Lopez could get pretty angry about it. There are several rumors that the American Idol judge is supposedly a diva.
Jennifer Lopez Has Reportedly Acted Like A Diva In The Past
Celebrities often work hard to create and promote their material. However, many people work hard, and being in the public eye does not give anyone a free pass to treat others badly. Some celebrities will even refuse to speak to the same people who want to help them. It seems J. Lo might be one of those celebrities.
While in first class on a United Airlines flight, a flight attendant supposedly offered Lopez a drink. Apparently Lopez didn't want to have any interactions with the flight attendant. She told her personal assistant, "Please tell him I'd like a Diet Coke and lime."
According to Radar Online, the flight attendant claimed in an interview with Star Magazine, "I just said, 'What can I get you to drink? But Jennifer refused to even acknowledge me. She turned her head away and told her personal assistant, 'Please tell him I'd like a diet coke and like.' She wouldn't even look at me. It was sad, she seems so sweet in her movies."
If the story is true, maybe Lopez could have been nicer to the flight attendant. It seems she could have at least given him her drink order herself. Instead, she apparently gave her drink order to her assistant as though the flight attendant wasn't standing right there, ready to take her order.
According to an inside source who's worked for the Out Of Sight star revealed that Lopez supposedly doesn't like to speak to certain service workers who are there to help her. The source claimed, "She doesn't speak to salespeople, restaurant or hotel staff - or flight attendants. She only talks through her assistants."
Jennifer Lopez Has Denied Claims That She's A Diva
Despite the many reported stories about her supposed diva behavior, Jennifer Lopez has claimed she isn't a diva. In an interview with GQ, Lopez was asked about the "'diva' thing", and if she thought it came from sexism or racism. Lopez responded, "For sure. Because I was Latin, and I was a woman, and I was Puerto Rican, and they were not giving me the same pass that they gave everybody else at certain times."
She also discussed her dislike of the word "no" during the GQ interview. The Monster-In-Law star stated, "I don't like the word 'no.' Like really bad. Really bad. If you try to tell me no, I will get into a bad argument with you about why it can happen, and how it can happen, and why you can't do it." When the actress arrives at a hotel and asks if her room is ready it seems the answer should be a definite yes!
It seems the actress doesn't believe herself to be a diva, despite all the rumors that say otherwise. According to bbc.com, Jennifer Lopez discussed the numerous rumors about her supposed diva behavior on Big Boy TV.
She stated, "Like crazy things, that I won't enter a room or won't look at people or talk to people. Those are the ones that I hate." The singer also said, "There's this rumor that I need to have everything white all the time...that's funny!" The star realized she was wearing all white as she said this and began to laugh.
