'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' was back tonight with yet another hilarious episode! The gang is all together in Las Vegas for a summer reunion, and things are definitely heating up. Deena finally let the cat out of the bag, revealing to the cast that she and hubby, Chris Buckner, are expecting their second child. Although most of the group know, Angelina Pivarnick is the only one who has been left in the dark about the news.
Well, that is all going to change when she makes her first-ever appearance with the group since her wedding back in November 2019. While fans are eager to see the official Angelina reunion take place, what seems to be the hottest topic right now is getting Ronnie Ortiz-Magro a girlfriend! The newly-single castmate is single and ready to mingle, leading his 'Jersey Shore' pals to get a dating show sorted to find him the perfect woman.
What Happened Between Ronnie & Jen Harley?
During tonight's episode of 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,' the group is readying Angelina's arrival at the Las Vegas hotel, however, Deena is the only one who doesn't know it yet. While that certainly unfolded in ways we could have all seen coming, it was Ronnie's single situation that sole tonight's show. The star has had quite the chaotic last few years with ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Jen Harley. While the two have been separated since September 2019, it appears as if there are still some hard feelings, so what really happened between Ronnie and Jen?
Ronnie had met Jen Harley after his break up with 'Famously Single' partner, Malika Haqq. The two officially went public in July 2017, where things appeared to be going incredibly smoothly between the two. Ronnie revealed that Jen was the first time he had truly fallen in love with someone, despite his toxic time dating former 'Jersey Shore' cast member, Sammie Giancola. Although things were off to a good start, things took a turn for the worst only months in their relationship. After going through a series of fights, the duo reached a boiling point by the summer of 2018 when Ronnie accused Jen of cheating on him.
The two went back and forth on social media, however, what remained the cherry on top, was that Jen was pregnant with the twos baby. The pregnancy definitely had its ups and downs, however, the two managed to reconcile for the sake of their family, however, that didn't last for too long. Ronnie revealed on Instagram that despite their efforts to co-parent, the two had an explosive fight during Season 2 of 'Family Vacation', where Jen hit, and spat on Ronnie. This was in retaliation to rumors surrounding Ronnie and a possible infidelity months earlier.
Jen Harley was later arrested for domestic battery in Las Vegas on June 24, 2018, after the incident occurred where Harley struck Ronnie in the face. Ronnie dropped the charges, and the two once again tried to work things out. Things had been going well between the couple, particularly on April Fool's where the duo staged a fake wedding. Despite things looking up, there were a series of cheating allegations and a kidnapping scandal, yes, a kidnapping scandal, that occurred over the course of the summer, leading the two to officially split in September of last year.
Since then, Jen Harley has been given sole custody of their daughter, Ariana Sky, over the course of the pandemic. So, after everything that has gone down, fans think it's best for Ronnie to stay single for a little while, however, the 'Jersey Shore' cast appears to have something else in store for him!
