Personal trainer Jillian Michaels is engaged! The media personality announced on social media that she and designer DeShanna Marie Minuto are engaged after 1153 days together, and that "She said "yes." The image also shows the two of them embracing one another, while showing off the engagement ring.
Following the photo, multiple people congratulated the happy couple, including fellow trainer Kenta Seki and Lauryn Bosstick. Fans worldwide have also celebrated the happy couple, and have continually wished them both the best of luck.
The couple first confirmed their relationship in late 2018, with Minuto confirming on Instagram in Dec. 2018. They have both since posted photos of the two of them on their Instagrams on a regular basis, with the designer posting engagement photos on her Instagram as well.
Jillian's Second Engagement After Heidi Rhoades
Michaels is mainly known for her work on the hit show The Biggest Loser, for which she was one of the leading trainers from seasons 1-2, 4-11, and 14-15. After her time on the show, she began her work on the spin-off Losing It With Jillian, and made appearances on The Doctors. She also starred in the reality television series Just Jillian.
This will be the trainer's second engagement. The first was with Heidi Rhoades, and she shares two children with her. They announced the end of their engagement less than six months before Michaels confirmed her relationship with Minuto.
What DeShanna Means To Jillian
Following the engagement announcement, Michaels spoke with People, and she couldn't help but gush over the designer and how much she means to her. "DeShanna is 'all the things' — beautiful, smart, funny, creative, quirky, passionate ... I could run down the list of adjectives. Those characteristics obviously attract you to someone. But it's the quality of their character that makes you think 'Thank God for this person laying next to me' every night when you fall asleep,"
Although Minuto is mainly known for her designing skills, she also exercises regularly and can easily keep up with one of Michaels's workouts. "What's interesting about DeShanna is she was like, a D1 athlete — some crazy great athlete … and is very fit, very lean, and was like, 'Okay, I'm going to start working out.'" She continued by saying, "I gave her a little routine and she was like, 'I can't walk, I've been zombified, I hate you,' and then, over a couple of weeks … she's like, I just ran my mile in seven minutes and 15 seconds."
As of this publication, there has not been any more information announced regarding their engagement, and when the two will tie the knot. However, the two of them are continuing to celebrate, with Michaels inviting her friends on Instagram to celebrate with them.
