According to PopSugar, when Juvonen was with Barrymore for her Saturday Night Live visit, Fallon was a member of the show at the time.

Sadly, sparks didn’t entirely fly when Fallon and Juvonen met backstage on Saturday Night Live.

Fallon and Juvonen’s romance wasn’t always picture-perfect, though. The actor really wanted to propose, but he had some worries.

Juvonen made a reservation at a restaurant in the Big Apple, and Fallon decided to postpone the proposal because he was worried the place would potentially close one day in the future.

Fallon decided to wait until three months later in order to pop the question to his then-girlfriend.

Instead of going for the usual proposal at a restaurant, Fallon decided the best time to ask his then-girlfriend to marry him when they were vacationing at Juvonen’s parents’ place in New Hampshire.

The event took place at the Juvonen’s summer home near Lake Winnipesaukee back in August of 2007.

1 They Tied The Knot On Necker Island in 2007

The happy couple eventually decided to tie the knot on December 29th, 2007.

The newlyweds said their vows on Necker Island in the Caribbean, due to the beautiful location. They opted against a big media frenzy for their nuptials and instead kept the invites to close friends and family only.
