Jimmy Fallon has created so many memorable moments on his Tonight Show over the years. Heck, not long ago, he had Madonna taking things to the extreme, crawling on his desk and flashing the audience. And who can forget that time he and Bradley Cooper just couldn't stop laughing... that was another highly viewed moment.

However, with so many episodes, there is bound to be some chaos that takes place, and many of his interviews have taken unexpected and awkward twists. Once, Jimmy Fallon even got called out by Dakota Johnson for interrupting guests while they're trying to tell a story.

In another case, Fallon might've been a little too over the top for the fans' liking, when he was clearly using a fake laugh throughout his interview with Ryan Gosling. We'll go back in time and take a look at the moment, along with some other examples of Fallon using a fake laugh.

Updated on March 8, 2022: Jimmy Fallon has long been criticized for his laughter, and the TV star is surely used to it by this point. Back in the 1990s, when he was just starting out on Saturday Night Live, he was known as the cast member who often "broke" during sketches, meaning he would laugh even when his characters weren't supposed to. A famous example is in the "More Cowbell" sketch starring Will Ferrell and Christopher Walken. Jimmy Fallon only plays a small character in this sketch, but he's been accused by many fans of stealing focus as he fails to control his laughter in the background.

During his run as the host of Late Night, Fallon was often accused of laughing too much during interviews. That criticism didn't stop him from landing the coveted role as host of The Tonight Show, and it hasn't affected The Tonight Show's incredible popularity. While some fans might be annoyed by Fallon and his laughing ways, the man clearly knows what he's doing; he's one of the richest and most successful comedians in the world right now.

Jimmy Fallon Is Known For Fake Laughing During Interviews

In fairness to poor Jimmy Fallon, he's probably trying to amp up his guests and the crowd with his fake laugh moments... Nonetheless, fans on both Reddit and YouTube have taken note that this occurrence happens very commonly. Compilations exist of Fallon either laughing for no reason or simply using a fake laugh after a joke.

This includes interviews with the likes of Kelly Ripa, Anne Hathaway, Terry Crews, Jonah Hill, and so many others, that we really don't have enough time for.

On the other hand, there is no denying the laughter that took place between himself and Bradley Cooper. The interview went completely viral, as the two just couldn't stop laughing. It turned into one big blooper real and a memorable one at that.

In Ryan Gosling's case, however, the laughter was visibly fake, and in addition, it seemed as though his guest noticed as well.

Some people don't like his fake laughing, but on the other hand, it might be tame in comparison to his habit of cutting off his guests... Oh yes, there are a lot of examples out there of Fallon talking over his guests.

Two stars in particular put him on blast for that: Dakota Johnson and Taylor Swift. But again, the host might just be overly excited, that's all...

Fans On Reddit And YouTube Caught Jimmy Fallon Fake Laughing During His Ryan Gosling Interview

It has nearly 2 million views on YouTube, the video is entitled, "Jimmy Fallon Fake Laughing Obnoxiously through an entire interview with Ryan Gosling."

Gosling would bring his dog to the interview as well, and the pooch stayed by Gosling's side throughout the entire interview.

It all started on the right track between the two with some small talk, then, all of sudden, Fallon appeared to be laughing at everything Gosling had to say. Even the guest looked confused, as he would tell a story with no joke at all, and midway through, Jimmy would start to laugh for no reason.

The fake laughter continued on until the very end of the interview. Compared to his Bradley Cooper interview, it is quite telling when Fallon is laughing for real or fake. This one was definitely forced. Fans seem to agree on both Reddit and YouTube platforms, roasting Fallon for his awkward behavior during the interview, along with his fake laughs in the past during other one-on-ones.

Fans Reacted Negatively Towards Jimmy Fallon

Yup, Jimmy wasn't getting away with it, as fans on Reddit created a specific page, roasting the host for his interview with Ryan Gosling.

Here are just some of the highlights from that page.

"HAHAHAHAHA slaps table. Saying Jimmy Fallon is phony is like saying water is wet or the sky is blue."

"He does the clap laugh thing so annoying. I do wonder though sometimes maybe they aren't feeling well or something but still have to just play along to not waste everyone's time."

Those on YouTube seem to agree, as it feels like Fallon is being forced to laugh at times.

"It genuinely does sound like he is being held at gunpoint to laugh."

"Jimmys guest: inhales The table: aw shit, here we go again."

"Jimmy: How are you? Guest: I am fine. How are you? Jimmy: Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha."

"Ryan's face no words needed could tell he was thinking " I ain't even told a joke what you laughing for."

We assume Fallon's mouth and jaw must be hurting after conducting such interviews... but seriously, let's not pound into the host even more. He's known to have a sense of humor, and he just enjoys laughing. Heck, who can forget all the times he broke character during his run on SNL?

He genuinely loves to laugh and have a good time, though, for some, he takes it a little too far.
