Ben Affleck is earning extra brownie points with his new/old girlfriend Jennifer Lopez by hanging out with her mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez.
The actor and the pop star who have re-started their love affair - 17 years after they canceled their wedding and broke up.
A photo obtained by PageSix.com showed Ben, 48, and Guadalupe, 75, hanging out together near slots machines at Wynn Las Vegas.
The actor is said to filming a new project in Vegas as a film crew and security staff were spotted.
Earlier on Wednesday, Ben had been seen playing the tables at the casino at 3 a.m.
A source told E! News on Thursday: "Guadalupe loves Ben and is happy that he is back in Jennifer's life."
"They enjoy gambling together and have done it in the past,' the insider added. 'Ben had the opportunity to work in Vegas this week and she came out."
Ben and JLo, who starred together in the critically-panned film Gigli. They had been set to wed in September 2003 but called off the marriage at the last minute.
They split a few months later in January 2004.
After the pictures of Ben and Jennifer's mom appeared online, many fans believed Lopez may have sent her mom to Vegas to "keep an eye" on him.
"So in other words JLo sent mom to watch him," one person wrote.
"Did she send her mom there to monitor him? Hanging out in Vegas sounds like a great spot for a recovering alcoholic and for a tendency toward gambling addiction," a second added.
"Yes, that's exactly where a gambling addict should be hanging out," a third commented.
"Hey JLO's mom. Maybe like DON'T enable Ben with this behavior as he's had issues in the past. I guess its too late to have that chat with your daughter about not being so reckless jumping from man to man," a fourth chimed in.
Ben Affleck spoke about his alcohol addiction and continued recovery in a candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter’s “Awards Chatter” podcast.
“I started drinking too much around the time of Justice League and it’s a hard thing to confront and face and deal with,” the actor said of the time he “realized I was an alcoholic.”

Jennifer and Ben had their arms wrapped around one another, while waiting to be seated at Wolfgang Puck's new restaurant located at the exclusive Pendry hotel.
Sources told Page Six the pair were very touchy feely throughout their romantic night out.
"They were very affectionate, very cuddly," the insider said. "He had his arm around her the whole time."
Jennifer's renewed connection with Ben appears to have begun even before she broke off her engagement. Sources say the couple started sending emails back-and-forth before they were first pictured together last month.
