Joe Millionaire is a 2003 reality dating show, that featured a group of single women, each competing for the affection of a bachelor, who was said to be a millionarie. However, the twist was, the bachelor was not actually a millionaire at all. But only the last woman standing found out. If she agreed to still go out with him, they would share the $1 million prize. The show was well-received and aired for two seasons.

They will all stay in a lavish estate in Georgia, and, according to the trailer, at least one horseback ride. The two "Joes" stay in one down the road.

This time, there will be two bachelors both posing as CEOs and millionaires, but the catch is only one of them will actually be telling the truth. Unlike the original concept, there is no cash prize. They either fall in love with personality or wealth.

In 2015, Marriott told Vulture, "I’ve been offered all kinds of things as far as interviews and shows, and I’ve said no so much over the past 10 years that a lot of people think I’m crazy. I’ve got a good job I can fall back on. If something else comes along, I’ll do it, but I don’t really have to."

1 What The FOX President Said About The New 'Joe Millionaire'

Rob Wade, the president of FOX, has had his eye on the revival for quite a while. After making sure the network still owned the rights to the franchise, he decided to bring it into the modern age. “We knew we couldn’t just bring back a remake of the original, that wouldn’t work,” Wade told Variety. “Obviously, the big surprise was gone. I also felt like that kind of surprise is very particular to a certain era. And that kind of era is probably gone in TV. So we had to find a way of reimagining the format by putting a twist on it, which was going to be fresh, and also really importantly, sustainable.”
