These last couple of days, John Cena is making some serious noise out of the ring. Cena usually posts light-hearted photos to his IG, those this time around, he got all the fans talking with a photo of the Marvel villain, Sandman.

This would create lots of buzz pertaining to the casting for Spider-Man 3, without a doubt, it would bolster John Cena’s career – fans are discussing the impact it would have and for the most part, everyone seems to be on board.

The Fan Reaction

Fans are already starting to get creative online, releasing photos of Cena with the Sandman look – we’ll be honest, he looks more than suitable for the role and kind of perfect for it;

Ironically, this comes off the heels of Dwayne Johnson and his hype for his very own DC super-hero, Black Adam. Clearly, the two former WWE stars are benefitting from their time away from the ring.

A former WWE alum would even state that he thinks John Cena can rival The Rock in Hollywood.

With such a role, he’ll definitely be on the right path and according to former WWE legend Rob Van Dam, this could very much take place in the future;

“I think he will have his own way, and I think he will do very well. He is already doing very well. I think Rock made his own path which probably only goes for The Rock. I knew John when he was still working at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach. He would check me in when I came in to practice. And to see him go where he was going, it was cool to see that. But also he stayed there [WWE] for a long time because he’s so good in the ring, in the office, everywhere.”

Although things were once rocky between Cena and Johnson, that is now fully in the past. Cena would also admit to contacting DJ when it comes to advise, especially in the world of Hollywood.

The two have a close bond and it appears as though John Cena is setting his sights on a major role, one that already has everyone talking.
