The plot thickens in the romance between John Mulaney and Olivia Munn. A new viral video suggests that the comedian and the actress are expecting a baby mere weeks after he announced his split from wife Annamarie Tendler.
Earlier this month, rumors of a relationship between the stand-up comedian and The Newsroom actress started circulating at the same time Mulaney announced he was divorcing from his wife of six years.
TikToker Claims John Mulaney And Olivia Munn Are Expecting A Baby
News of the relationship between Mulaney and Munn shocked many fans who had no clue the two knew each other.
According to US Weekly, which published a timeline of their relationship, Munn and Mulaney met at church. She also wished him well on his sobriety when his decision to commit to a 60-day program was announced. Back in 2015, Munn apparently hung out with Mulaney and Tendler at a wedding.
A new video suggests that the budding couple is about to welcome a baby together.
“The word on the street is Olivia Munn is pregnant,” New York City comic duo @celebritymemoirbookclub announced on their TikTok page.
The two comedians claim an anonymous source close to Mulaney told them he and Munn are expecting a baby.
“We’re not in John Mulaney’s circle, but somebody is, and somebody is who knows somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody who knows us…” one half of the comic duo pointed out.
That’s five somebody’s for you there. While this news — reposted by celebrity gossip page @deuxmoi.discussions — hasn’t been confirmed, fans of Mulaney have expressed their doubts about the legitimacy of this unconfirmed detail.
“That's 100% legit. 50/50 true not true. Flip a coin,” one wrote.
"Well that sounds legit lol,” another user replied.
“Okay so it’s not true,” was another comment.
Fans Aren’t Sold On The Reported Relationship Between Mulaney And Munn
Other fans are still on the fence about the news of a relationship between Munn and Mulaney.
“has anyone even seen a pic of john and oliva together?? I am guessing they are just trying to get clicks or build up their following by posting something thats not true,” one follower commented on @deuxmoi.discussions’ Instagram.
Mulaney has recently made his return to the stage announcing several stand-up gigs after checking into rehab for addiction issues in December 2020. While he hasn’t opened up on his divorce and new relationship with Munn yet, his ex-wife-to-be Tendler said she was “heartbroken” when the comedian filed for divorce.
“I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage," Tendler's spokesperson said in a statement. "I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery,” Mulaney’s wife Tendler told Page Six in May this year.
