We've seen this take place before, actors entering an interview completely intoxicated. That was the case with Mark Wahlberg during his appearance on The Graham Norton Show. We can say the same for Dax Shepard, who would also get banned from Conan O'Brien's show, until years later when he got sober.

The interview immediately got off to a rocky start when John Stamos decided to go on a rant. The actor wasn't pleased with a journalist calling him 'tired' in a news piece. Stamos revealed that jet-lag is a real thing, and that the flight to Australia was quite the lengthy one.

However, as the interview went on, it was obvious that Stamos wasn't feeling his best during the interview.

"Can I say that I love it here," Stamos said in a slurred voice. At that point, the interviewer cut Stamos off and wanted to ask the actor why he took offense to such a statement written in the paper, given that he was in the business since the age of 19. Stamos instead looked around at the production crew and said, "she won't let the guest talks, I'm the guest."

Stamos finished his rant by telling those in Australia not to buy that said paper, especially his fellow Greeks.

Once the interview concluded, John admitted he wasn't in the right state of mind during the sit down.

Kerri-Anne Kennerley Admitted Executives Started To Panic During The Interview

Despite the interview going completely off the rails, Kennerley had fond memories of the experience, though she did reveal that those watching behind the scenes weren't feeling as great about it all.

“I loved it. All the executives were starting to panic, but I thought it was fabulous."

As for Stamos, he didn't mix his words, admitting that he was more than just jet-lagged during the interview.

"When I went on that morning show, I was drunk. Yes, I was on sleeping pills and I was jet-lagged, but I was also just plastered. And I never said I wasn't, but that whole Warner Bros. publicity machine got involved and said, 'Just say he was jet-lagged.' I said, 'No, tell 'em the truth! I was drunk in Australia. Big deal.'"

For the longest time, Stamos admitted to flirting with disaster, and being very reckless when it came to his personal well-being.

"For the longest time, when I was not sober, when I was fuzzy, I thought, 'I've done it all.' I didn't wanna kill myself, but I didn't care if I died. I said, 'I've done it all. if I die tomorrow, it's OK.' What was I thinking? I hadn't done it all; I still haven't done it all, not even close."

It was a scary DUI charge that finally got Stamos acting right and changing his ways.

"You know, that fateful night, I got in my car, I thought I could drive, and I couldn't. I just have flashes in my mind about driving in circles. And people were driving near me and they would roll the window down, 'Uncle Jesse, pull over!' And I went to rehab, and it was the hardest thing ever," he shared.
