According to IMDb, the feature film tells the story of "The life of Jeanne Bécu who was born as the illegitimate daughter of an impoverished seamstress in 1743 and went on to rise through the Court of Louis XV to become his last official mistress." This Is Johnny Depp's First Movie In Years

After the very public trial Johnny Depp and Amber Heard went through, there is not much left to say that readers don't know already. This trial and the allegations against both Depp and Heard are very important matters that should not be taken lightly, so we won't go into it. But one thing is for certain: the only reason Depp was offered this role is that he won his defamation lawsuit. His last movie was in 2019, and due to the very serious accusations leveled against him by his ex-wife, he had not been working for a while. Everything changed for him a couple of months ago, though, when the jury ruled in his favor.

"Six years ago, my life, the life of my children, the lives of those closest to me, and also, the lives of the people, who for many, many years have supported and believed in me were forever changed. All in the blink of an eye," he wrote in an Instagram post after the verdict. "And six years later, the jury gave me my life back. I am truly humbled," he added.

For everyone waiting expectantly for this movie, hopefully there will be more news soon.
