"Baby, It's You." Singer/songwriter JoJo, made famous for her hits, "Too Little Too Late" and "(Get Out ) Leave," is engaged! She announced her engagement on Christmas Day and will now be planning a wedding alongside her Spring 2022 tour.
The couple has kept their relationship pretty private, except for cute pictures and videos of each other on their social media. And according to those posts, it seems as though they have been together for a year and a half, if not longer.
However, her fiancé is not a nobody. He is an actor who is rising to fame on a new streaming show, after playing minor roles in other movies and TV shows.

Dexter Darden was born on June 24, 1991, in Camden, NJ. He attended school and college in his hometown and is a big Philadelphia sports fan, as the 76ers play in Camden. Not much else is known about his homelife or early life.

Dexter Darden is considered a triple threat and can sing and dance, in addition to his acting skills. “I do take pride in being able to dance and do take pride in being able to act, and I do take pride in being able to sing,” he told Schon! magazine. The Saved By The Bell reboot allows him to showcase his singing talents. Hopefully, the actor will be able to showcase his singing abilities throughout the show. However, he has not released music professionally but did grow up singing in the church choir, starting at the age of three.

In the Summer of 2021, Darden starred on an episode of Celebrity Family Feud with his friend, Jimmie Allen. Fans didn't know if the actor was related to Allen or not, but later clarified on the show that they are good friends. Another celebrity friend of his is Jordan Fisher. JoJo posted the news of their engagement on Christmas Day. "forever with YOU? Sign me UP. celebrating Christmas a whole fiancé!!!" she captioned the post. Despite her announcing it on Christmas, it seems as though the surprise happened on her birthday, December 20th, as she continued her caption with, "thank you for the most epic birthday surprise ever!" Darden flew out both of their moms and best friends to share the special moment.
