Demi Lovato premiered a new podcast on May 19th called 4D With Demi Lovato. In an anticipatory Tweet, Lovato shared with their followers that, in weekly episodes, they'd be reaching out from the 'fourth dimension' and sharing interviews with special guests.

So far, guests of the podcast have included Glennon Doyle, Patricio Manuel, and Chelsea Handler, to name a few. Topics of discussion have included everything from recovery -- in many forms to gender and the journey to love oneself.

Lovato's most recent guest was a fan favorite and young adult who is on a journey of her own, inspiring fans along the way. Growing up in the spotlight and continuously embodying one image can be a difficult way of life to navigate, and Jojo Siwa is taking it all in stride.

Fans were thrilled to hear Siwa's talk with Lovato. Their conversation brought out some topics of discussion that included a confession, a lot of laughter, and a chat that made fans call this particular episode a breath of fresh air.

Lovato shared the chat with Siwa via a Tweet with a snippet of their conversation together. Fans were immediately excited about the podcast episode because of the topics they anticipated that they'd discuss. Of course, Lovato called Siwa a light, and they're entirely right about that. Siwa is loveable right away, and she is so true to herself.

9 The Podcast Episode Inspired Fans

This fan, and many others, were immediately inspired by their conversation and their time shared. Of course, they both talked about moments where their careers and experiences had made things harder on them - and they were, in turn, hard on themselves.

That being said, they also shared laughs and beautiful memories about their time in the industry, and you could tell that they had a fondness for one another through it. Traveling similar but separate paths, they could both respect what the other had been through.

8 Siwa Said Honesty Helped Her Relationship With Her Mother

In a portion of the interview with Lovato, Siwa expressed that honesty helped her relationship with her mother. Around the time she was ready to stop wearing bows, she realized that her relationship with her mom was different than it had ever been. They'd always had a smooth and wonderful relationship, but she stopped telling her mom everything she was thinking about growing up and who she was, and it caused their relationship to get a little rocky.

After they had an honest conversation, things went back to normal, and there was a look of relief on her face when she shared the news. Siwa and her mother share a very close bond, and it's vital to her.

7 Why Siwa Said Goodbye To Bows

Siwa's signature accessory has most definitely been her bow. She said she wore one every single day. Upon turning 18, she felt like she wanted to make a change -- it didn't happen overnight, and it wasn't some urge to grow up or move past it. It was, however, born from finding out who she is and who she loved.

She said the experience 'grew her up' some, and she wanted to see what she was drawn to next in terms of her look. Nothing will top the bow, it's much more than an accessory to Siwa, but it was time to change some things.

6 On Expressing Herself

Something fundamental to Siwa is to 'not be boring.' She dresses in a way that helps to express who she is and how she's feeling. Lovato asked her why it's vital for her to embrace that and her response had a lot to do with those who look up to her.

Siwa said that "It's fantastic to be different and it's cool to be different" - and she hopes to show people that. If we stay true to ourselves, we can have a lot more fun embracing what makes us unique.

5 On Being Extroverted Introverts and Introverted Extroverts

Both Lovato and Siwa shared that they've definitely found a sense of calm and peace being at their own homes away from it all. While being out, in the thick of the realm they exist in, they thrive and enjoy it -- but they find they're genuinely themselves when the comfort of home surrounds them.

Siwa said that she has two sides, the side that's outgoing and larger than life and also the side that enjoys being at home, not glittery and shiny, just hanging out. That, however, isn't the side fans should anticipate seeing on social media.

4 The Paparazzi Never Really Bothered Siwa Until This Moment

Siwa said the moment she turned 18; everything changed things with the press and the paparazzi. Questions switched from those concerning her career, friends and family, and positive topics of conversation to ones that were more hard-hitting. Of course, she knows that now that she's 18, those questions will be asked more often -- but she's also aware of who her audience is. They're kids, in large, and she wants to respect that.

That said, Siwa answered those questions, and she reiterated that she is for love, for people, and for people being able to be who they are. She also realizes that the press and paparazzi have put spins on some of her public responses, as well. She is more aware of these things happening now.

3 On Being A Walking Rainbow

Lovato asked Siwa if she felt that her personality captured what it means to be proud.

Without skipping a beat, Siwa had the perfect response.

"Oh, I am a WALKING rainbow!"

Siwa said that her mom, her friends -- including the best friend who is now her girlfriend, and other members of her family knew that Siwa was a member of the LGBTQA+ community. She says she's constantly decked out in rainbow gear and embraces it; it was meant to be.

2 On Her 'Gay Awakening'

Speaking of her 'gay awakening', Siwa said that two significant moments stick out to her. One of which was Jenna Dewan's lip sync battle performance - in which Lovato nodded in understanding. If you're unfamiliar with that specific battle, Dewan lip-synced to Pony by Ginuwine and danced, as her then-husband Channing Tatum did, in Magic Mike.

The second was a moment shared between Lovato and backup dancer Jojo Gomez during Cool For The Summer performances. There were a few shows where the pair got very close and danced with one another, and Siwa admitted that she found herself 'a little too interested'.

She was talking to her girlfriend, Kylie, about the same topic and she had a similar experience at a Lovato concert. She attended the show with her mom and during Cool For The Summer, Kylie had a bit of an awakening of her own.

1 From Friendship To Romance With Kylie

So how did Kylie and JoJo take it to the next level? Well, at first, Siwa was scared to go there. She met Kylie and thought she was beautiful and fun, but that happens. Siwa says she sees a lot of totally platonic friends hyping one another up so she thought that would be it for the two of them.

The two grew to become best friends, and Siwa just wasn't sure what was happening. It wasn't until they saw each other again in person that she couldn't avoid her feelings for Kylie. She said the tension could be cut with a knife, and they'd both been there for one another through failed relationships with some hidden jealousy brewing beneath the surface.

During a talk one day, Kylie asked Siwa if she had a crush and when Siwa said yes but couldn't admit to who it was, Kylie knew.

Kylie is the one who spoke up first, admitting her feelings for Siwa, and Siwa of course returned those feelings. She told Kylie that she'd been scared to ruin their friendship, but that Kylie assured her that even if she didn't have those feelings for her, it wouldn't have affected their bond.

Lucky for the pair, their love story was just beginning, and she glows talking about the girl she fell in love with.
