The sixteen-year-old who dresses outlandish, has a car with her face on it, and lives in a $3.5 million house she bought, brands herself as a positive character who strives to put smiles on people's faces. And even when people are criticizing her, JoJo does her best to not let things get to her. In fact, the 5'9' (1.75 m) performer even wrote a recent caption saying, "I've been hated on for YEARS for dressing 'young' and acting 'childish'" but, "if you hate on me I'm gonna laugh hahaha!"

People love to say JoJo acts like six-years-old, which isn't the craziest accusation at first glance. But JoJo most likely doesn't care about what people have to say about her age because, at just sixteen-years-old, she's been highly successful due to the very niche brand she's curated for herself.

JoJo has made her hairstyle a staple to her brand. She wears a tight, high, side ponytail adorned with a signature bow. Critics of the teenager like to point out that this has caused JoJo to have a receding hairline and that she needs to chill it with the hairdo. In an interview with Today, JoJo said, "There's been a lot of people who have said that they don't like my hairline. But here's the thing, when I look in the mirror, I know that my hairline makes me who I am, it makes me special. It also makes me look like I have a 'five head,' but that's OK because it's just little blond hairs up here that you can't see. But I love it, it makes me who I am and, it's just, it's my hairline!"
But with a successful bow fashion line, it doesn't look like JoJo is going to stop wearing her bowed ponytail anytime soon.

JoJo's style also involves colorful, embellished, and ridiculous outfits, and it's probably safe to assume that her closet looks like a unicorn threw up in it. The Nickelodeon star finishes her costumes off with high top sneakers, perfect for her dance moves and her song "HIGH TOP SHOES." Between glitter everything and her heart logo stamped on most of her clothing items, JoJo is a walking billboard for her brand.
At least as she's gotten older, she's elevated her wardrobe by wearing more designer pieces, like Gucci and Off-White.
JoJo Doesn't Let Any Of This Get To Her
Lately, JoJo has been seen multiple times donning a more natural look on TikTok, without the "classic rainbow, sparkles, and side ponytail with a JoJo Bow." Fans were worried that the negative comments finally got to JoJo, but she assured her 20 million followers that this isn't true. In a video, she wrote, "People think this is me 'changing.' LOL NOPE. I love who I am! This is just me at night or in the morning!"
In her interview with Today, JoJo adds that blocking her haters on social media and having confidence is key. She always tries to take a step back and remember her mantra, "I love what I do. I am who I am. And it's just my life. I feel comfortable with who I am and comfortable with what I do." No one's stopping JoJo from being her most authentic self.
