While viewers of 19 Kids And Counting are used to the strict rules that the Duggar family follows, some of the children are doing their own thing as they grow up. Joy-Anna Duggar has shared that she watches movies every night and Jana Duggar has embraced her single life without so many rules.

Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth is no longer on the spin-off reality series Counting On, and fans are curious about why. Let's take a look.

The Reason For Leaving?

From rules about entering new relationships to screen time, technology, and clothing, it's definitely true that the Duggar family is known for coming up with a long list of rules.

Fans think that Joy-Anna and her husband Austin's house flipping business might be why they aren't in front of the Counting On cameras anymore.

According to Cheat Sheet, they talk about this on social media and on their YouTube channel. The publication notes that Joy-Anna and Austin haven't publicly shared their decision to leave the series, so no one is totally sure why, but if they have packed schedules now, it makes sense to stop filming.

Joy-Anna had a miscarriage in the summer of 2019 and people think that this difficult time might be another reason to step back from the reality TV cameras.

People have commented on how Joy-Anna Duggar has seemed to do some things her own way. This is the case with some of the kids and that seems only logical because following so many strict rules can be difficult.

Because Joy-Anna got married in May 2017 and three months later, said she was pregnant, people wondered if the couple slept together before getting married.

Fans thought this because the wedding was supposed to take place in October 2017 and the couple moved it up. It's also well-known that the Duggars don't believe in sleeping together before marriage, so this would have been a big deal.

According to In Touch Weekly, Joy-Anna and Austin began putting personal updates on their YouTube channel in March 2020, and fans thought that they weren't going to come back to Counting On.

The Sun reported that the couple was fixing up and decorating their home in 2019. The couple shared, "We've got tons of touch up paint to do and a whole lot of unpacking, but so happy to be moved into our home! None of our furniture/drapes/decor matches right now and we haven’t got our couches yet, but thankful to be out of the camper before we have another cold front move in!"
