Despite Al Pacino's aversion to marriage, he's still very much a family man. He has three wonderful children, and his eldest daughter Julie Marie Pacino is the one continuing his legacy in the world of film. Julie is Al's daughter with his acting coach Jan Tarrant whom he dated for about a year in the 80s. Now 31 years old and accomplishing so much in the entertainment industry, Julie continues to prove that she's not only another reckless celebrity child as the media used to say. Here's how much she's grown over the years.

She First Made Headlines When She Was Arrested for DUI

In 2011, Julie was arrested for DUI in New York City. Her alcohol level was .12 percent, which is one and a half more than the state legal limit. She admitted to drinking three beers and smoking marijuana before driving a 2009 Mercedes Benz that had an expired California registration sticker. Al Pacino rushed to the city all the way from Los Angeles where he was filming Phil Spector.

A month after the incident, Julie told New York Post, "I never want it to happen again." She said it was all "a big mistake." She also talked about the struggle of being recognized as a filmmaker and how the headlines made it worse. But before the arrest, her short film Abracadabra already screened at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.

She's Now A Writer, Producer, And Director

Almost a decade after the DUI arrest, Julie Marie Pacino is now making headlines again. This time, it's all about the exciting work she's been doing. No more DUIs, just back-to-back film projects. One of her latest works is a comedic 11-minute film called Hard Work which can be found on PornHub. Yes, you read it right.

She's Really Close With Her Dad

Al and Jan may have not worked it out, but Julie remained extremely close to her dad growing up. She even goes to red carpet events with Al and his two other children with actress Beverly D'Angelo. They certainly look like a cool crew in these events, too. You can tell all three children love their father so much and that Al supports them in all their endeavors.
