Justin Bieber is no stranger to being accosted by adoring fans that always want to clamor to him and get as up close and personal with him as possible. In fact, the incredible amount of fanfare he received in the onset of his career was very much the cause of his stress as a young star. This time, however, a fan tried to capture a selfie with Justin Bieber in the most invasive way — by rushing the stage in the middle of his concert.

A fan was seen hoisting himself onto the very stage that Justin Bieber was standing on, and he quickly tries to capture a selfie with the star, who was visibly confused and stunned by what was transpiring.

Security agents were quick to react, and it doesn't even seem that the selfie attempt was a successful one.

Justin Bieber Gets An On-Stage Surprise

Justin Bieber had no idea what he was in for when he embarked on his Jingle Bells tour in the United Kingdom. After hitting the streets in matching trench coats, he and his wife Hailey Bieber made their way to the O2 arena for rehearsals and then, the big show began.

Without any sort of warning whatsoever, it seemed a huge Justin Bieber fan just couldn't resist getting as close as possible to his favorite artist. Somehow, as Bieber was belting out the lyrics to Intentions, the male fan decided his view wasn't optimal, and he took matters into his own hands to rectify that situation.

He managed to get onto the stage and made a feeble attempt at capturing what would have been an epic on-stage selfie with the star. Sadly, his efforts seemed futile and unsuccessful, as security rushed the stage just as fast as he did, and took the fan down.

That Was A Close Call For Justin Bieber

Thankfully, this crazed fan didn't get too up close and personal with Justin Bieber, but this incident draws attention to the fact that there are security breaches that not even the most well-trained guards and agents can predict. Thankfully, the fan seemed more interested in just capturing a selfie than causing any harm, but given his ability to access the stage, and the fact that he seemed to do so with relative ease, the question of safety arises once again.

Fast-acting security agents are credited with saving the day and having this obsessive fan quickly removed before anything more unfolded on that stage.

Bieber is also getting credit for being able to maintain his composure and keep singing while this was all unfolding.
