The artist formerly known as Kanye West wants to shed his Kardashian image.
Kanye West is focussing on his billion dollar sneaker line, amidst rumors of an impending divorce from Kim Kardashian.
West dropped the brand's most controversial shoe yet, the Foam RNNR in June.
Now the businessman appears to be working on a new Foam RNNR.
A Yeezy employee was spotted spray-painting a prototype of the sneaker Monday in the parking lot of their Calabasas office.
The employee covered the shoe in what appeared to be a new version of the style in silver paint. He then spray painted another shoe in orange.
Sources close to Kanye say he wants "to shed his Kardashian image" and be known for his "innovative and creative mind."
Kanye, 43, dropped the first Foam RNNR back in June without warning - surprising fans.
The sneakers are made from harvested algae and EVA materials.
It features an aerodynamic silhouette with ridges in holes, which has drawn comparisons to Crocs.
The shoe first dropped for $75 and was initially mocked by fans.
However several of West's fashionable friends have been seen rocking them.
Now the Yeezy's are available on the resale market for as much as $800.
The new version could be much cheaper, as Kanye told Joe Rogan in October: "So for me, I'm gonna make this shoe be $20. Money isn't real, so the world should eventually be free."
A source told Page Six Kimye's alleged divorce will feature heavily in the family's final storyline. They are due to make their exit from the reality show later this year.
The hit E! show is ending after more than a decade-long run and 20 seasons. So far Kim has stayed quiet about the raging rumors surrounding the state of her marriage.
After it emerged that Kim may be exploiting her divorce for her reality show, fans began to turn against her.
"Kanye been left her when he went to live in Wyoming. They've been living separate lives for a year. She's just trying to make it look like she's leaving him. Honestly I can't wait for the divorce and then Kanye's tell all book," one fan wrote online
Kim and Kanye are said to be living separate lives and now it's claimed that the couple "had no option" but to separate.
In fact sources say things became "downright toxic" between them.
"Kim and Kanye had no option but to live apart in the end because the communication between them had gotten so downright toxic," a source told Us Weekly.
