Kanye West may be wealthy - but squandering $12.5million has got to hurt.

The total cost of his failed bid for the White House has come to light, according to a report released by the Federal Election Commission.

West's self-funded a majority of his run, which didn't officially begin until four-months before voting day.

While the eventual winner, Joe Biden, had the honor of becoming the first Presidential campaign to receive a billion dollars in donations  - West only raised $2million for outside contributors.

The "Gold-Digger" artist, 43, earned 66,000 votes nationally - averaging out his final campaign costs at nearly $200 per vote

The embarrassing voting docs come days after confirmation of his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

Some sources say West sharing intimate details about their marriage during his campaign kick-off, was what led Kim to file for divorce.

West's campaign - which he ran under the banner of the Birthday Party, focused on Christian values, fiscal conservatism and criminal justice reform.

But that's not what made headlines.

The Grammy winning artist told attendees that Kim had once considered aborting their first daughter, North.

Kanye told the crowd that Kim "had pills in her hand."

He shared, "You know, these pills you take it and it's a wrap—the baby is gone."

In the end, the "Jesus Walks" rapper only made it onto the ballot in 12 states.

A former West campaign insider speaking to People  he admitted funds could have been better spent, telling the magazine: "I didn't see any Kanye ads, did you? ...If [West] had pushed and done a $10 million buy digitally, they could've actually made a difference in a few states."

But fans think someone needs too take over his finances - namely Britney Spears dad, Jamie. He is currently in a legal battle with his daughter as he remains a conservator over her estate.

"Kanye West. I propose that Britney's dad becomes his sole conservator. You're welcome," one fan wrote.

"Narcissism at its best. Millions of people are starving and he could donate to that or just help with more charities but he is too self absorbed," a second added.

"Why doesn't he have a conservatorship. He appears to be more in need than Britney," a third chimed in.
