Since announcing her pregnancy earlier this week, Katy Perry has been pretty loose lipped about all the juicy details. So far, we already know how she hid her bump and the fact that the pregnancy was planned.
“Well, it wasn’t an accident,” Perry said in a Youtube interview with Mikey Piff. “I think I’ve just been trying to create this space in my own life where I’m not running myself too ragged and, like, creating space for something new to happen like this.”
Now, we also know what gender she hopes her child will be. Hint... not a boy.

Girl! Or at least, that’s what Perry hopes.
As reported by Cosmopolitan, the singer revealed her gender hopes during her performance at the Women’s Cricket World Cup Final in Melbourne, Australia. “I hope it’s a girl,” she announced to the crowd.
We can expect to hear a lot more about her #babycat in the weeks to come, however someone that we’ve not heard too much from is #babycat’s daddy ... until now.
Orlando Bloom’s Adorable Message
While Perry has had a lot to say about her pregnancy in the past week, the only thing we’ve heard about Orlando Bloom is that he’s really excited about the news.
That all changed yesterday, as the father-to-be posted a super sweet message on Instagram, confirming his happiness about being a father.
Bloom shared a sweet Insta of Perry showing off her bump, along with the caption, “My babies blooming ❤️.”
