Her acting resume is impeccable, her net worth is impressive, and Kerry Washington hasn't hit her peak yet. She does have some pretty weird habits, though.

The star, who's impressed audiences in everything from 'Save the Last Dance' to, of course, 'Scandal,' Kerry is a celeb to watch. Not only do fans love Washington for her crusade against racial inequality, but they also enjoy watching her on-screen because she's a brilliant actress.

She does an excellent job of becoming each character she plays, which is one reason why she was paid so well for 'Little Fires Everywhere,' among other recent projects.

Washington doesn't just let the characters go once a project is over, though. Her strange ritual actually comes down to commemorating each of her roles, and sometimes, she pushes the boundaries.

In an interview on the set of 'Late Night with Seth Meyers,' Kerry alluded to the fact that she takes a souvenir from every project she's worked on, highlighted Brit.co. In some cases, fans can assume Kerry is given her memorabilia, but not necessarily always...

In fact, Kerry hinted to Seth that she had a few things in mind to take from the 'Scandal' set, and it basically sounds like she wanted to steal some super expensive items.

Her pick? Well, picks? 20 different Prada bags that Olivia Pope pairs with her ultra-fashionable outfits in nearly every episode of the show. Seth joked that Kerry wouldn't necessarily be taking a memento; it was more like she'd be stealing some very pricey merchandise.

Jokes aside, Kerry elaborated that the purses were symbolic of her character, and the character's journey. She noted that there were "Seven years of memories in every single beautiful bag."

Can't argue with that! The strange part of this memory-lane ritual, though, is that Kerry doesn't always take home a bag or a piece of clothing to remind her of a role. Sometimes, she takes a piece of furniture from the house the character lived in.

Which is a bit weird, and has fans wondering what kind of stuff Washington has in her home now, given the range of roles she's had. Apart from, ostensibly, those Prada bags, fans know that Kerry also has a Ugandan vase from 'Last King of Scotland,' and Prada boots from 'Little Man,' confirmed CraveOnline back in 2007.

But there is one movie she didn't want to take anything home from — yes, Kerry does recognize that sometimes, it's best to leave the characters on set. That film was 'I Think I Love My Wife,' and the actress explained, "For this movie, I kept nothing. Nothing. I didn't want to take Nikki home with me."

Ah, so not such a creepy and weird tradition after all, if Kerry wasn't into continuing to be the husband-stealing yet super complex and scary character she was on set.
