However, while being widely known for being a reality star, she was also well-known in her earlier years of fame for a tape that was supposedly 'leaked' by her boyfriend at the time, Ray J. It was this scandal that helped the Kardashian name rise to fame. Since its release, it has fallen under the radar for many years. However, now rumors surrounding the tape have begun swirling again.

Ray J Exposes His Truth On Second-Tape Lies

Despite recent headlines surfacing discussing the pair, Ray J and Kim Kardashian's relationship actually dates back to the early 2000s. The couple broke up in 2006, a year prior to the launch of the highly popular reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, when Kim was rising to fame.

Much of their relationship has been associated with the 'famous' tape that surfaced of the pair. However, talk of the tape has begun swirling around the depths of the internet once again.

After watching a recent episode of The Kardashians, Ray J took to Instagram to air his frustration to the world. In the episode, Kim is shown panicking over a second sex tape that she doesn't want to be released to the public.

The following episode shows Kanye bringing Kim the alleged 'second tapes', where she proceeds to cry in both relief and happiness.

However, it has recently come to light via Ray J's Instagram that the whole facade is actually fake. Taking to the social media platform, he shared private messages between him and Kim that revealed that the orchestrated 'second tape' was in fact just for the show.

He also showed that the pair discussed the 'storyline'. However, despite Kim's attempts to rectify the problem, it seems Ray J was not too happy about the whole thing.

In one message, he wrote: "I HAVE TO LET THE WORLD KNOW BECAUSE YOU'VE TAKEN IT TOO FAR NOW," continuing by asking her to help him appear 'in a positive light.'

In addition, he also claims that he never threatened to release anything, 'let alone a second tape'.

In an exclusive with the Daily Mail, he provided several screenshots from their conversation.

He also told the publication, "I can't live the rest of my life in this lie. This morning, I woke up and said, you know what? For the remainder of my life, I'm going to live in my truth and not in the lie that's been created by Kris Jenner and Kim. I will not let them do this to me anymore. However, this is only the tip of the iceberg."

Fans Were Shocked By Kim Kardashian's "Nasty" Voicemail To Ray-J

While many fans were left shocked, they were also taken by surprise by a shocking old voicemail that surfaced that was sent by Kim to Ray J.

The voicemail was leaked by Candace Owens, who described Kim as 'nasty' in the voicemail, stating to viewers that "it is the opposite version of the Kim Kardashian that your kids have been following."

In the voicemail, a furious Kim is heard calling Whitney Houston an 'old hag' and then proceeds to yell at the pair, calling them 'crackheads.' Her tone heats up towards the end of the voicemail, as she screams at Ray J to stop calling her.

According to the online publication Radar Online, Owens had been informed that Kim had left the voicemail as she was jealous that Ray J was becoming more famous than her, paired with the fact that he had started dating Whitney Houston.

While some fans have questioned if it's really Kim, others are adamant that it's her voice from years ago when she first began filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians. However, the timeline of the two factors appears to match.

The leak left many fans shocked, while other fans stated they thought it was obvious that the tape was a set-up.

One viewer noted, "An orchestrated tape was the MOST OBVIOUS thing I'd ever heard of. Even back then when I was a teenager I knew that. Why are people shocked that this is the case? If you know how the system works, then you understand that nobility doesn't get you to the top of the food chain."

As of writing, Kim hasn't come forward to address the claims that have been made against her. However, staying silent may indeed be the most tactile move right now for the highly-popular reality TV star, until the drama has begun to settle down.

Despite being thrown into the firing line online, it still seems as though Kim is trying to spread more positive energy around.

During an interview with Interview Magazine, she spoke highly of her ex-husband, crediting him for helping her to make connections and helping her 'find her footing'.
