The socialite and her mother Kris Jenner were spotted having a meal with the show's creator, Lorne Michaels, according to Deuxmoi.

Soon after the news of their meeting came out, talk started to circulate that they were possibly discussing a hosting opportunity for Kardashian.

A Source Said Kim And Lorne Were Deep In Conversation

The source spotted the trio eating at hotspot Polo Lounge, located inside the Beverly Hills Hotel, and said it appeared as they were engrossed in what they were talking about.

“Kris and Kim are here with security all around. Lorne Michaels is sitting with them!! You think they are talking about an appearance on SNL? Kim is very talkative. And Kris just looks like such an adoring mom,” they stated.

Another source confirmed to Knewz that the talk was indeed about having the socialite come and host the premiere of Saturday Night Live's season 47 on October 2.

“Lorne Michaels was recently spotted at the Beverly Hills Hotel deep in discussions with Kim, and her homager, Kris. He wants her to do the show,” the source said.

Kim Is Regularly Impersonated And Mocked On The Show

This would be Kardashian's first time hosting the show, and she would join the ranks of other controversial figures who have been asked to do the honors. The hosts are usually actors, singers, or comedians, but some social stars have also secured the gig.

Her estranged husband Kanye West has been on the show six times as a musical guest.

However, the two of them have also both been impersonated in numerous sketches on the show over the years.

Kardashian, her sisters, and her mom have often been the butt of many jokes on the sketch show.

Ex-cast member Nasim Pedrad portrayed a spoiled, air-headed version of Kim many times from 2009 - 2014, while Kristen Wiig, Vanessa Bayer, and Abby Elliott have been cast to play her family in the past.

Kanye has also acted in a few skits when he was there as the episode's musical performer.

He was last on the show in 2018, where he famously went on a long rant that confused both the cast and audience members.
