Thus far the lovebirds have managed to stick it out, despite living on opposite sides of the country—but now an insider is saying there are questions “looming over their relationship,” as Kim deals with a busy schedule in California while Pete's career is based in New York City.
Kim Kardashian Is Struggling To Find Time For Pete Davidson
Kim met Pete while in New York hosting Saturday Night Live, and after the two got flirty on set they exchanged numbers, quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples. But it looks like the relationship is becoming a hassle, at least according to The Sun.
“As loved up as they are right now, some question marks are looming over the relationship because they’re both so busy,” an insider told The Sun. “It’s hard to make things work when they live on opposite coasts.”
Kim spends most of her time in California, where she’s working to raise four young kids, earn a law degree, and film her hit reality show, The Kardashians. The source added that the reality star is “struggling with all the travel” necessary to keep her relationship with Pete going.
“Pete’s considering getting a place close to Kim in LA to make life easy, and for him to spend more time there - and Kim is encouraging this,” the source continued. “At this stage, him moving to LA full-time wouldn’t happen - his life and a lot of his career is in New York.”
Pete Has Tons Of Work To Do In New York
Pete has a full-time gig at SNL, so unless he plans on finding a new job out in California or flying back every week, it sounds like he’s better off in New York. That’s also where the comedian is filming his new horror, The Home, which is set to come out next year.
The source also said that Kim doesn’t let Pete stay with her when he visits unless the kids are gone, despite the comedian getting a tattoo of their initials. The reality star is “really protective” of her kids and having the comedian stay over might “confuse” them.
After Kim divorced her ex-husband Kanye West, she paid to keep their $60 million Calabasas mansion, while Pete just moved into a $1.2 million apartment in Brooklyn, New York.
